Canada's great loss in the music Scene here 'a sad sad loss....the late and GREAT Jeff Healey does his LIVE Version of ..well check him knocking it out of the ball park. I saw him one very snowy night in Feb. while I was doing an Education Degree in Technology Ed. and there was about 80-100 in attendance at the Students Wreck Hall because that storm was awful. I got to stand about 8 feet from him. This man was so so...so great. A very down ton earth very personable fella as well. We loved him in Canada It's too sad that he left us so very young..

I'm also a Poco Nut. A fan of the band POCO and awesome Eagle addition and former POCO bassest/singer Timothy B. Schmit. In 1998, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Eagles, the first year they were nominated.

What a fine voice !

Timothy B. Schmidt was a talented asset to the Eagles. I saw him with POCO LIVE @ Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada in 1971. What an amazing concert for us POCO fans. It was a whole lot of Cowboy hats and boots and blue Jeans....T-shirts advertising POCO and we claped so hard our skin wore off.

Timothy B. Schmit is rather unique in my experience....and I do music most every day. His vocals - pitch perfect, The Eagles gained an edge in terms of vocal refinement when they very smartly recruited Timothy B. Schmit. He's also a very fine....bass player who can 'thump it'. I'm going to look for one of my most favourite Eagles tunes and off 'The Long Run' album >>> ' Disco Strangler'. I hope I can locate it to >>> here ! :???:

When she had that really fresh grrooowwwllll. How could such a very talented Lady get herself so fricken' messed up? I just picked up our cultural monthly publication . . ' The Whole Note ...' and was reading an article on American Composer Steve Reich and wanted to get a video of his famous composition 'Drumming'. Listen to the shifts and changes and how Reich achieves this effect with gradual transitions.

The guitarist is Daniel Ward and this is awesome in terms of it's intricacy. It's not easy to play guitar in slow transition...as it takes a strong mental ability to concentrate and he features advance guitar technique with an effects pedal for the delay and tone augmentation. I love the transition at about 10:25 and another at 11:30. This is remarkable music.....congratulations if you took the time to appreciate it. :-)
