Javon "'Sup"

Woodson "Notin much Javon, how are you doing?"

Javon "I'm just chillin"

Woodson "We need ya buddy.....Will you suit up for us?"

Javon "Nah...Brett really got in my buisness. I can't play for GB"

Brett "We're on 3-way...I'm sorry Javon. I love you"

Javon "OK...I'm back....Let's get back to the promise land"

And a 3-way gay orgie breaks out :)

Nick,

I was with you until that last line. You better hope the EC girls don't read that.

I think Nick's point is a good one. In a perfect world, with all the good vibes going around, it would be a good time for Farve to mend a little fences and contact JW. That probably won't happen.

Woodson's call, though, might be better received (that is, if JW is not so ticked off at Woodson's contact). Anyway, it's worth a try.

So our cap was at 19.5 Mil before this week right?

19.5 - 10.5 for Woodson - 4 for Favre = 5 Mil - 4 Mil for Draft Picks = 1 Mil

1 Mil - Doesn't look like the Packers have any money to toss at Walker to get him to come back, also it looks like our free Agency splash is done now. Am I wrong with my cap estimates?

I hope Favre waves part of his bonus to make the cap more friendly to options after June 1st.

I think the estimate on $19M included the $4M for Favre. Maybe an expert like Patler can verify.

A little disappointing that there is nothing left to compensate Driver for busting his ass last year. I think we set a good example by rewarding Driver for solid play and giving 110% instead of sticking him on the back burner. I think DD is worth it. All around great guy on and off the field. I'd hate to see him disgruntled and leave. I'd really like to see him extended before going into his contract year..

I bet Thompson has a couple of dollars floating around that he could send Driver's way. Remember, Favre's money's already included and I think this year's cap hit on the Woodson contract is different than the $$ floating around. Also, the rookie signings come from the rookie pool, not the regular salary cap, Don't they?

As far as I know the rookie pool is included in the regular season cap $$ we have left. I think we'll need around 4-5 mill or somewhere in that area for draft signings. At least I though I read that somewhere. Harv??

Brett's roster bonus is already factored in, as it is classified a Likely to be Earned amount. The Pack would've been credited that amount had he retired.

So we have between 5-6 mil left after the draft. That's good =).
