In another thread, I voiced my dismay over hearing the Packers will play the Lions on Thanksgiving Day this year.
One of my arguments for my opposition was that historically, the Packers have a poor record for that day.
Here are the disturbing statistics for the Packers T-Day record:
11-18-2 All time T-Day record
5-11-1 T-Day record against the Lions
Even during the Lombardi era, the Packers did not do well against the Lions. This scheduling change is not a good one for the Packers, IMO.
