A non-religious friend of mine sent me a text message yesterday that read:
"Happy Zombie Jesus Day!"
Now she's got a pretty dark and dry sense of humor...and of course I laughed. But then I started thinking about the "truth" behind the humor.
With the exception of the biblical stories regarding the resurrection of Jesus, I have never read or heard a tale of any creature who died and then rose up from the dead without that story being about some kind of Zombie or Zombie like creature such as a Vampire or Werewolf etc etc.
Think of all the zombie movies and books that have been made. Think about that those stories inspire fear and horror.
Now ask yourself this question:
What if Christianity could be equated to the worship of a Zombie that was the self proclaimed son of god?
