Glad to see both of you rate Meachem well. I really don't want Revis round one, which both of you have rated well. We have too many holes to be drafting a #3 CB but I'm worried TT might just do that.

I forgot Ryan Kalil. He's a good player.

I think you overrate some of the receivers and underrate some of the DBs.

I really don't like Jamarcus Russell. He is a ridiculously good prospect I don't think he'll pan out, though.

Given Russell isn't lower than top 5 on anybodies draft board, rankings are bs at best...just looking for an I told ya so. Well you can throw that crap up on any QB and it will stick much of the time. You don't like him? Why is huge arm?

A #3 CB will get as much playing time as a #3 WR. Plus, Woodson's injury history suggests at some point that the #3 CB will be needed as a starter. I know Woodson made it through last season without missing a game, but just barely. He was really banged up.

I'm not sure I agree a #3 CB gets as much playing time as a #3 WR. They often come right out in 3 WR sets and w/o Green another weapon becomes even more of a need. But it might be close.

Our defense functioned fine with no stellar #3 CB once Jenkins was inserted and we started getting a pass rush.

Our offensive talent is going the wrong way and if TT wants GB to compete next year a #3 WR or pass catching tight end should be higher priortity than finding the #3 CB.

If the top rated LB falls to us I'm fine with that pick; if a stud DL falls to us I'll be ok with that.

Revis and Hall do not have superstar talent. Both should be good and drafted in the 10-25 range; but neither will be any great value at 16.

If we draft a #3 CB in round one I'll be sick

Probably. He's from Clemson. But, he's got a motor and decent size/burst so I think he'll be alright.

Do you have a beat on Paul Posluszny Harvey? Why is he not on your board?

I'm guessing that he'll be our man, possibly after TT trades down.

Don't think TT will go CB in the 1st round, but I wouldn't be shocked if he did... one way or another, he'll take a CB w/in the 1st 3 rounds.

TT will ignore need and take the highest rated player on his board, regardless of position. Hell, we could end up with an OT in the 1st round.

Interestingly, of the wide receivers/receiving TEs you bothered to rank on your boards in 2006 and 2007, by your own rankings we have:

3 Daisies
2 Hamsters
2 Beasts

Sort of interesting to think about if you're thinking that a trade back and picking Harvin might be a good idea. Harvin tested positive (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft09/news/story?id=4087941) at the combine, BTW.

I'm not saying I want it to happen. I'm saying those are the two situations where I wouldn't be mad if they were to take a receiver. IMO, they need to either get Crabtree, or get Orakpo/TyJack.

The first time I heard of Harrell as a legit possibility in the top 20 was in the week before the draft in a CNNSI article, probably Peter King. I had heard of him and seen him play, but really he was an after thought and I didn't think he'd go anywhere near where he did.
