HUMAN JOYSTICK GETS SHIPPED TO RAMS

Sirius NFL Radio reports that the Chiefs have traded receiver/kick returner Dante Hall to the St. Louis Rams for a fifth-round pick in the 2007 draft.

We reported a week or so ago that the Chiefs were shopping Hall, whose production has dropped a bit since he had one of the best seasons ever for a kick returner in 2003.

The only knock on Hall is that he's never been able to fully develop as a receiver. At age 28, Hall still has several more years to make it happen

A 5th! IMO the Rams just made a great trade.

We will get to see what he has left when the Pack goes to St Lou on 12/16/2007.

Wonder if TT even tried for Hall?

I know he's enamoured with some of the young guys already on the team, but they can't take a chance with woodson again this year returning punts.

Lower round pick I would think would've been worth the risk..

Doubt it; Hall is a bit up there and will not be effective when TT plans on being stocked up a few years from now

Hall has been just average the past 2 years. He was 15th in the league last year in punt returns, 24th in kickoff returns. 2005 was no better. I'd rather try to find someone in the draft rather than trade a pick for a guy whose best years may be behind him.

So, it sounds like Hall doesn't equate to Desmond Howard part deaux
