The Cleveland GM stated he was contacting each team after pick #12 to try to trade up for Brady Quinn

Curious as to your views

Would you take Cleveland's pick # 36 and a First Round Pick next year for pick #16 ?

My guess is that TT did not

Thompson admitted to fielding 6 calls to trade down...but did not view any of them as credible in terms of value. Thompson seems to like to deal in known factors...and not knowing where that pick would be next year would probably be a deal breaker for Thompson. I think he also truly feels he got a very good value in Harrell...otherwise, he'd be willing to trade down as he showed in the 2nd round when the WRs he would have taken went off the board.

No I don't think its worth it, because Cleveland has a legit chance to be pretty good next year. They are going to have a very good half of an offensive line, and a pretty good receiver and tight end.

My guess at 16, Cleveland still had 7 chances to get a deal before it became critical. Hence, the offer on the table was not acceptible.
