This is how Sandra got into this world. My wife was having spotting in the early Friday morning and was concerned After my stepson got on the bus to school my wife and I went to Womens Care to see whats going on. She had an ultrasound and was on a monitor to show how the baby was doing. They said that she just needed to get some rest and take it easy. Later that night she went to her night job. Around 8:40 my wife calls me and said that she had a mucus discharge. She picked me up and we both went to Northwest Community Hospital, We were just there to get checked out, She was on the monitor to check on the baby. It was decided that she should stay the night for observations. Around 1:00 am she started to get severe lower back pain.
The nurses were miffed. Even the doctor on duty was as well. My wife stood up and at that moment her water broke and she laid back down. At this point the baby sliped out of her and into the doctors hands, She then offcially born at 1:06 am.

She is doing great! We got back last night around 8:00 pm. We stayed for 2 days. She is in the NICU still but for a preemie for 30 weeks she is doing great. Mom and I have visted her 5 or 6 times per day since were there. I have confidence in the NICU here at Northwest Community Hospital.

Congrats, Chubby Hubby!

That is a day you will never forget! :D

Kiwon and Tarlam,

Baby birthing stories are always unique and special. If you come to the PackerRats gathering in October, I'll tell you the stories of both of my daughters being born. If you pass out, there will be plenty of PackerRats to catch you... :)

Nice thought! I've never been to Lambeau.

I've cut cords and stuff.....but believe me, women have my complete sympathy...they do all the hard part.

It is special to see though....a miracle.

I once knew a lady who was an atheist .....until she gave birth. Then she understand that the whole process is a miracle. Neat story.

My last name is Blessinger. I should make a bumper sticker that reads about Sandy " I AM NOT JUST A BLESSING... I AM A BLESSINGER!"

What do you think?

No, because both are true!!!!

I take that back, didn't see the word 'just' the first time. (they say the eyes go first)

Your idea is a great one!

She is doing great! She is daddy's girl alright Big hands and feet. She is now 4 days old and she has only her foot and hand wired up. She is breathing on her own. The results from the brain ultra sound came back normal.

Wuss!!

So, my wound was oozing puss and I squeezed it. Blood sorta mixed with it as I belchled loudly and said "fuck, that hurts".

Better to say.....

I hurt my arm yesterday.
