Packer update says:

Don’t be surprised if Korey Hall winds up back on defense in the near future, and such a move would have nothing to do with his performance at the recent minicamp. The ex-Boise State star is simply a better linebacker than many people give him credit for, plus the fullback position has become pretty crowded as of late.

and

Before acquiring veteran kicker Lawrence Tynes from Kansas City, the Giants contacted the Packers about Dave Rayner. They were told that he wasn’t available.....

How accurate have you found this blog to be??

As to your specific question, I don't know.

But the rumors seem filled with truthiness.

Korey Hall is a good athlete looking to find any niche he can to stick and help out on special teams.

I wouldn't trade Rayner either until the dust has settled from the kicking battle. He might be our best kicker. and he's at least certain to give Crosby a push to develop more quickly all through training camp.

They can't be any worse then any of the other rumor sites.

Nothing I've heard suggest the Packers are looking to move Hall back to LB.
