Not a big fan of Robinson, but it's nice to see somebody write something positive.

THE WINNERS

Green Bay Packers – The Packers needed an infusion of talent, and just by sheer bulk alone, they may have had the best first day of the draft. Selecting five players in the first 75 picks is always a nice luxury, and Green Bay picked up some quality talent. The Packers added two of the best linebackers in the country in A.J. Hawk and Abdul Hodge to their porous defense, then accentuated their first-day picks with some lesser-known talent like Daryn Colledge, Greg Jennings and Jason Spitz – three players who could all contribute as early as next season either as starters or special-teams players.

SCOUTS.COM NOTED THE TWO PICKS WE TRADED AWAY AS HAVING GREAT VALUE

Reviewing Day 1
Top value picks

Chad Jackson, WR, Florida: Patriots, 36th pick, second round
Jackson is a bit unpolished as a route-runner, but he has the most upside of any receiver in the 2006 class -- and that includes Ohio State WR Santonio Holmes. Once again, the Patriots find a way to maneuver the board for a tremendous value at a position of need with David Givens' offseason departure.

Jimmy Williams, DB, Virginia Tech: Falcons, 37th pick, second round
There are legitimate concerns regarding Williams' inconsistent effort and abrasive attitude, but there's no way a top-10 talent should fall this far with no legitimate off-field incidents on his record. Making this an even better pick is the fact that DeAngelo Hall was his teammate and upperclassman while the two played in the Hokies' secondary. If Hall keeps Williams focused, this will be a steal of a pick for the Falcons.

Hey Buddy! That porous defense was like 10th in the NFL last year. We've added talented new players at corner, at safety, at DT, and at LB we have two young stun guns and an okay vet.

Watch out for our D.

The Pack D will be FEARED in 2 years! The Hawk of Lambeau and his merry band of tacklers will lay the wood to all who oppose the G&G way!

I tried posting it but I must be too stupid to make it work. Here's how I got there. www.rivals.com....put your mouse on the nfl draft icon in upper right....click on rankings by position....at the top of that page click on nfc picks....click on packer icon and there you go

Hope you can follow my great directions.....good luck
