Jennings and Hodge were both very impressive football players. Reading what is available on Colledge I think he'll be the best of the bunch....I think the Packers have 4 starters. This could be the best draft in GB in a long, long time.....

We picked up Greg Jennings, the Seahawks picked up Kelly Jennings =).

From that video it appears that Hodge tackles really low, but hits like a sack of bricks when its a straight on tackle. He could very well start.

Greg Jennings has the softest hands I have seen in a while! I'd compare him to Torry Holt.

Good hands....He's a natural fluid athlete....Very good coordination and balance......Good crisp routes and awareness.....Great yards after the catch.......

He's pretty much everything Robert Ferguson is not. This kid is a football player. I think Fergi has a job for a couple more years but I think this kid has a chance to pass Ferg as soon as 07.

I don't want to jump to conclusions but this is the best I've felt about a draft in quite some time.

I feel good about the draft, but I'm finding myself writing off alot of the question marks that surround our new players with "TT's a good scout, he knows what he is doing'. There is a reason why these players were not picked up before we got to them! I see potential in all of them, but also see them as 2nd stringers and special team players.

The one common thing i'm finding in all of them, other than Hawk, is that they are Dark Horses (Non-spotlight Players with all the potential in the world, but those who have question marks).

Colledge - Could turn out to be a top guard, Mean, nasty, and strong as an ox, needs good coaching to fix his technique.

Jennings- Softest hands I have ever seen, but short, and doesn't play as fast as he could.

Hodge - Can only play Middle Linebacker, short, may not be big enough to MLB in the big leagues

Spitz - Our Scott Wells of this draft, solid plug-in kind of guy, has loads of potential, but could disappear off the radar in seconds.

Well he's not and Hawk is!!!!

You gonna root for Hawk or do we all consider you a traitor instead of Packer Backer? You can hate TT but you shouldn't hate the player's he picked until they prove you right!!

How can I not hate Thompson's picks when the only contributor he got last year is Collins, out of 11 picks?

I doubt Martin, Moll, Jolly, Culver, and whoever is thompson's last pick this year will make the team.

Sure sometimes you get lucky and land a Driver, Kampman and KGB and Tauscher, but the odds of success for players drafted in rds 5-7 is not as good as players drafted in rd 1-3.

Thompson is too dumb to realize that and it shows every time he trade quality picks in rd 2-3 to stock pile picks in rd 4-7.

Fine so last years player made you hate them. This years players havent played a single down!

Now get it together, wipe your nose, and quit running around crying if your a PACKERS fan! This is the time of the year when you can have high hopes. i want to hear about your opinions besides "TT sucks". Show me what you think about the players besides that a Polar Bear drafted them. So me if you are a man and got any sack!!

You might have to click on his video...You have to click on the little video link to the left of each player.

Colledge looks like a real beast. In a lot of those clips ke's driving guys back into the secondary.

Spitz looks really good also. In his highlight package they have him making play at both center and guard. Impressive.

Blackmon is the real deal though. He is shifty as hell. I thought Brandon Williams was a great return guy/ WR but I never saw him with the moves this guys has. I mean he is literally juking out the entire team. Then when he is tackled for all practical purposes, he squirts out of the pile. WOW.
And he plays CB.

I have to watch some more....

Ingle MArtin is a real intriging prospect. He has a bullet arm and doesn't give up on plays. Plus he punts, really well. He set every punting record at Furman. I like this guy.

I liked Greg Jennings and Cory Rodgers too....

This draft just looks better and better with every passing day.

Blackmon's Highlight reel was amazing, wow.

Colledge will be a pro-bowler in a few years.

Rodgers is special as a returner, but could grow as a reciever.

Hodge is just a pimp!

I don't know...I thought Rodger looked pretty impressive as a WR. Apparently he body catches once in a while but A. Freeman did that too and it never stopped him....

Driver/Jennings/Ferguson/Gardner/Rodgers in some order is my guess. I really can't see Boerigter or anyone else for that matter beating out the rooks.

I really want Blackmon to stick. He has gunner potential and he could win one of the return jobs and then maybe they cut Hawkins or Carroll to make room. Maybe the keep 5 DB's...We'll see. I don't even think Harris is 100% safe.

I just can't see a guy named Ingle being a good player.
:D

He has a funky throwing motion. I thought that from watching him at the combine. Physically, he has some intriguing things to work with. I still would have rather had Reggie McNeal or Bruce Gradkowski.

I like Blackmon. I thought Rodgers looked slow and pretty unimpressive on his videos.

My wife doesn't know anything about 40 times. I asked her which player she thought looked better and she chose Rodgers. She said he was amazing where the other guy was just so-so....

I tend to think that because we know the 40 times before we watch the video that we over-estimate the guy we believe has more athletic ability. For what it's worth, my wife thought Rodgers was "amazing" and Blackmon was "not as good"

RashanGary

I just watched again.....Rodger does get run down more.

I really like both players. Blackmon is going to have a tough time making the roster because they usually only keep four CB's.

Woodson
Harris
Carroll
Hawkins
Blackmon

Do you keep 5?

Who was it on JSO that used to hype up gradkowski because he lived in Toledo or whatever? I thought his arguments were actually pretty convincing. I think he'll be a pretty decent pro, maybe not a starter but he'll be alright.
