View Full Version : How Hot is It Where You Live?

The West is currently experiencing a heat wave. Medford, Oregon had 101 today. Most of the Southwest was considerably hotter.

A number of weather patterns move from west to east so you in the midwest and eastern parts of the country might get this heat wave in the near future.

So how hot was it today were you live?

Today's high was around 82, but tomorrow they're predicting 90 and 95 over the weekend...

Supposed to be in the high 90s here tomorrow. I have some relatives that went to Glacier National Park this week. It was supposed to have record highs today. Let me tell you that high 90s in the mountains like that is like 120 in most places.

After a very wet 4th of July, we're getting the heat starting today here in the Northeast, mid 90's for the weekend..

Here, in Florida, surprisingly enough, we haven't, nor will be, getting over 90, for the next two weeks.

Is that inland? My friends are just returning from a trip from Oregon (staying on the coast) and they said it was cold there. How funny to hear a Wisconsinite saying that 65 is cold, lol.

It's been nice here in GB...humid of course, but some 90's are on the way.

GBRulz,

During the hot summer months, Oregon's coast is often considerably cooler than just a few miles inland.

It's damned hot here. We haven't had rain since the beginning of May and the wildfires have already claimed 2 civilian lives. A couple of weeks ago we had a weather forecast that predicted 11 of the next 14 days to reach 100 or more. We sometimes go all year without hitting 100, so this is pretty hot for SLC. Of course you can always escape up one of the canyons and the temps will drop 15 or 20 degrees. But it's still hot at my house.

I'm devoting the rest of my life to Al Gore.

The thermometer on the door to my deck reads 99 degrees. It is NOT a dry heat. If this keeps up, I'm gonna have to turn on the AC.
