I don't know how many have followed this story but it looks like it might come to a head soon. Things could get ugly.

Hard for me to feel real sorry for people who have refused to pay taxes on 2 million dollars income. Do they think they could have made that kind of money without the infrastructure and economic base that is funded by federal income tax dollars?

The argument has been made so many times before regarding income taxes it is almost pointless unless Congress does something. I do hate the fact that the Government uses your employer to collect taxes for them and makes you fight to get it back. It was liberating when I finally went out on my own and had some control over what and when I paid. As always there needs to be much better oversight how our taxes are spent (Duh!). Although there was a tax case in South Carolina I believe the other day that went the other way...I"ll try and find it.
