Falls all over himself complimenting the Packers draft...not only great college players but great values...loves the Hodge pick...loves the Greg Jennings pick--calls him the #1 sleeper in the entire draft and he will be contributing this year...one of the top drafts per Cowherd FWIW...

Also rips into Michigan pointing out they had no one drafted on the first day and that UW has more NFL players since 2000 than UM.

Cowherd best syndicated show on radio--ashamed they got those local dolts on instead of him on 1510.

I caught that too. He said it's the best draft the Packers have had in 7 years. Not sure about that, but the best in the last 4-5 years at least.

In recent history the gold standard of Packer drafts was the '93, wasn't it? Henderson was one of the guys drafted that year and everyone was yowling that we didn't get Zach Whathisface as FB instead. I'll have to find it to compare.

The 2000 draft was excellent.

Was that the Walker Draft?

They are all boiling into one shitty pot.

Walker draft was 2002. That was okay. Kampman and Da Poop came from that class, and not much else.

2000 - Bubba Franks, Chad Clifton, Na'il Diggs, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, Mark Tauscher

How 'bout the magic '95 draft.

Craig Newsome
Darius Holland
The "Holy 3rd Round"
Wm Henderson
Antonio Freeman
Brian Williams

And...

Travis Jervey
Adam Timmerman

A lotta guys who made the big team and played from All-Pro to "shudda been". 2 guys still playing in the league, no less!

I'd take a '95 draft evey time.
