I posted this someplace else but..... anyway, when do you generally hold the draft for FF? I know we were pretty early last year and some people were not happy about that.

Yes, please. If you promise not to yell at me anymore.

I usually hold mine the wek of the last preseason games. But it doesn't matter to me.

Whenevers clever.......A little later is probably better because you have a chance ot knw who got inured and who's having productive pre-seasons ect..

As late as possible.
Last Sunday before the Kickoff weekend is my favourite.
An early draft makes no sense to me.
To much luck involved who gets injured or cut or traded or just holdouts the training camp or even longer.

I hold my FF drafts a week prior to the start of the regular season. That way a person doesn't get stuck with guys that go on IR or are released, and the people get a better feel for the teams and how the players might improve.

You should, if it's a redraft league, have your draft as late as possible (with respects to everyone's schedules).

If you're a dynasty or keeper league then you can go earlier but you should always go later for your drafts in FF. No harm what-so-ever occurs from waiting til the rosters are set and starting spot competitions are over before you draft.

I'd be interested in taking part in your league, if you have room for me.

gureski you're more than welcomed to play. There's a thread for sign up in romper room.
