Offense 1st series there were some nice plays and some not so nice plays.

Jones made two nice catches for first downs. I loved the route on the second completion for a first down, he ran a quick out and then pivoted back towards the center of the field located the first down marker and then fought for it.

The oline is going to be tested by the Jag's tough and athletic defensive line, especially in the running game, Spitz, Colledge, and Wells all got shoved into the backfield on consecutive running plays.

1st series defense

Some decent pressure, but the first Packer needs to make the tackle

On third down and short the Jags ran the ball, and Hawk lost his mind going for the ball he started punching like a mad man!

Very little pass rush on the fourth and short.

Offense, 2nd series,

own 32, short pass to Jackson over the middle for 4 yards

2 and 6, toss to Jackson for two yards around the right side,

False start on Clifton

3 and 10, shotgun Jags blitz, Favre hits Jones over the middle ball is punched lose I call fumble. turnover

Jags defense is good, the pursue to the ball very well, Jackson still moves the ball forward, doesn't take losses

Jags have a very good defense, they do a nice job causing turnovers.

Packers on defense after the turnover

Packers are over pursuing on defense, Linebackers need to retain their responsibilities

Jags try and end around but Hawk blows up his block and inside pursuit makes the play

Leftwich runs close to the first down, Hawk needs to defeat block by tight end.

Nice play by Barnett and Poppinga on 3rd-1. Good push by the defensive line

end of quarter

4th-1 for the jags at the Packers 37 yard line. Packers stuff it!!!

Once again Barnett makes the tackle and Poppinga stuffs at point, Dline didn't move an inch great play!

I don't think your going to get a lot of 4th and ones against this defense this year.

Packers ball on their own 37

Run to Jackson met in the hole, no blocking, Colledge pushed back.

Favre on 2-9 over throws everyone. Jennings cuts route into the inside.

3-9 good protection, Jones not on the same page as Favre, cuts route off.

Ryan puts it into the endzone.

Jones had a nice pick by Donald and just stopped running his route, I think he thought he found the soft spot in the zone, but the ball is already out of Favre's hands,

New linebackers beside pop

2-6, Northcutt burns Harris on a hitch, and he cuts back and Harris blows the tackle

1-10 on the 44, no pressure and Wilford catches one on Harris again.

1-10 on the 41, pressure comes from up the middle, #97

2-10 on the 41, Bishop blows up williams! Hat comes off, For some reason though Williams ran free over the middle, blown coverage.

Guys do a little pushing after the kick off. Nice coverage by the way

1-10 on the 19, Drew-jones takes it up the left side of the defense for 6 yards

2-6, Jenkins misses tackle at the line of scrimmage.

1-10 from the 29, Jenkins hits Leftwich as he was throwing, Harris almost makes the pick.

Starting linebackers beside Poppinga are out

Harris is almost beat deep on Northcutt but ball is over thrown.
Collins took the short route and bailed on Harris

No sacks for the defensive line, but a little pressure. The Packers need to get a release from their blockers. They need to use their hands better.

1st-10 Rodgers in at QB, Run to Jackson for two yards off the left side. The Packers have really been pounding the left side of the line with no results.

2-8 Rodgers goes over the middle to Driver, he makes a nice catch, goes for extra yards, makes the first down and it looks like he twisted his leg/ankle. not good

1-10, Rodgers sees blitz and throws to the outside to Jones, Mathis gambles and Jones goes up again at the highest point and grabs the ball before Mathis and turns and runs down the sidelines for another 15 yards Gain of 23

Driver is carried into the locker room, that fucking sucks.

1-10 at the 37, biltz Rodgers avoids the rush and hits Jones, who cuts up the field for an extra 7 yards.

Drive is gone on the cart

2 minute warning.

Driver is always trying to gain extra yards and I applaud him for it, although every time he does it I cringe because it seems like he always gets his legs rolled up on or twisted.

I think it might be a knee or left ankle.

Packers ball 1-10 at the 25, hits Jones over the middle for a first down. Jones has great hands, Jones is just eating up the zone

1-10 at the 12, Rodgers tries to go over the middle to Lee who is double covered in the endzone.

Driver has an ankle injury

2-10 Rodger hits Jennings for 4 or 5 yards, Jennings is stuck.

Packers have all but given up on the running game at this point in the quarter.

I hate the fox announcers,

3rd down and 7 yards from the 9 yard line,

Jennings pass is under review

Hand stays under the ball in my view, but shit it is three yards, who cares

Jennings has gotten a few more balls thrown his way this game, and with DD down he better step up.

Ball hits ground, 3-10 at the 12, 1:10 left in the half

Rodger in shotgun, Screen to Jackson for 11 yards, Jackson settles behind his blockers for a nice gain.

Jackson got out a little early, but Rodgers is lucky he did, because he would have been sacked otherwise.

Jackson plunges in behind his right guard and tackle for the Score!!!

10-0 Packers

Rodgers looked very good on that drive, but still nowluck on the ground

Kick goes into the endzone, boring special teams in this half, not much to see

Leftwich back out there with the first team offense,

Run for no gain by fred jones,

Halftime

Lets recap:

Donald Driver is out with what looks like a severe ankle injury.

running game looks mucky, offensive line got beat up in the running game by the Jags stout defensive line. Packers are going to have to face the Bears and the Vikings twice this year and they are going to have to step up the line play against better competition.

Packers were able to throw the ball at will down the field, the receivers were able to catch the ball and then make extra yards for first downs.

Extra: More rain for southern Wisconsin!!! no Golf, bastard

Anyways, the Jags were able to move the ball here and there, but when it came down to gaining first downs the Packers were able to stuff the Jags twice on short yardage.

No Sacks but decent pressure here and there, but the defensive linemen need to do a better job disengaging from the offensive linemen.

Packers kick off, ball goes 8 yards deep in the endzone.

10 rushing yards for the Packers

1-10 20 yardline, playaction, Northcutt gets step on Blackmon but ball is overthrown, illegal contact on #26.

1st and 5, hand off to toefield, tackled by #59

2nd and 3, from the 27, first team offensive line is still in, pass, screen set up to Toefield, read by #97, to slow to catch up 1st down.

1st-10 down the middle to Wiggins broken up on hit by Rouse. Nice stick.
Wiggins a bit dazed.

Challenged

Thrown to flat, caught by toefield tackled by Bishop

3rd and 4, almost picked off by Collin Cole who read the play well to Toefield sitting in the middle of the field.

4th down

Williams lets it bounce inside the ten
2nd-10

Deputy Nutz

1st and 10, no where to go for Jackson up the middle,

2nd and 9, Jackson has biggest gain of the night for 3 yards,

3rd and 6, shotgun, Rodger scans the field and is then sacked at the 5 yard line, poor blocking, Barbre just gets burned at left quard to give up the sack.

Jags ball at the Packers 45 yard line, Dave Garrard in for Leftwich, Garrard back to pass finds his receiver on the right sideline for a first down. Bush in coverage.

KGB out with a knee injury tonight.

2nd and 9, Garrard misses his read and skips it of the ground.

3rd and 9, Garrard back to pass scans field pressure is slow to get there and Garrard finds Jones across the middle for first down

1st and goal, shotgun, finds Williams over the middle to the two yard line, Bishop pops Williams again.

2nd and 2, Toefield pushes pile, but is stopped by Bishop.

3rd, and 1 Toefield slashes in for the score,

See all later my wife wants the computer.
