Linfield quarterback Brett Elliot from tiny Linfield College in McMinnville, OR signed as a free agent with the San Diego Chargers yesterday.
As some of you know, Elliot led Division III Linfield to the NCAA Division III Championship last fall. He generated some interest in the pros because he actually started at Utah ahead of Alex Smith before he got injured. When Smith took over as starting QB, Elliot transferred to Linfield.
It will be interesting to see if Elliot can make it in the pros.
