The season is just getting started but I was thinking about the roster and overall there seem to be mroe long term answers than questions.

Long term answers:

QB = OK with Rodgers but if a good one is available, take one
RB = If one is available great
OT = We don't have any definite long term answers. We have Moll, Colledge and Barbre who could all play OT but we don't know about any of them. An LT would be a good pick considering Cliftons days are numbered.
OG = We're pretty good here long term but if Colledge slid out to OT, we could use another good OG if one was available.
OC = Wells is here, Spitz could slide in. I think we're OK but if a great one was available, it wouldn't hurt.
WR = Jennings and Jones are good long term guys but a star or another really good WR is always welcome. Driver will be gone sooner than later.
TE = We're not set at all long term and maybe not short term. A good TE would be on the top of next years wish list
FB = Korey Hall has been impressively effective early. He seems like a long term ansewr but if a great one is available it wouldn't hurt

DE = We're OK for now, but with KGB likely playing his last year, it would be nice to get a new pass rush specialist. I consider replacing KGB to be a somewhat urgent need compared to most postitions

DT = We're good here assuming Williams gets resigned and Harrell develops in the off season. However, if a super stud were available, it wouldn't kill us to have a probowler at this position even if JH develops into one himself.

LB = We're pretty good with Hawk, Barnett and Poppinga starting and Bishop as the top backup but depth is always a good thing at LB and you never know when injuries could hit.

Safety = Bigby might be the guy but after that, I don't have much hope for the SS position. Rouse just doesn't seem like a good player to me and the rest seem like below average players. We could always use depth or maybe a starter if Bigby never really steps up.

CB = Bush looks like he has starter potential. He has to keep getting better but we might have one of our CB spots locked up after the big two retire. This is a need position though. Harris and Woodson are pretty old in CB years. We're going to need to start getting the next guys groomed sooner than later

K and P are good. A great returner never hurts even if Blackmon is a good one.

The top needs that I see are:

1. TE
2. CB
3. DE
4. SS if Bigby doesn't play well.

TE is pretty urgent. CB is sort of urgent. A pass rushing DE to replace KGB would be a HUGE help. If Bigby doens't pan out, SS is a need. Other than this though, it's all depth and developmental. We could use a playmaker at any position. Playmakers always help, but the roster isn't littered with holes like it has been. I think the Packers are pretty good now and the life after Favre looks brighter than I thought it would a couple years ago.

Travis Beckum would be nice. :D

He'll still have one more year with Bucky! He's gotta get bigger, too. He has the speed but could afford to grow an inch or two (I get ads in my email for this all the time, it must be possible), and add about 20 pounds of bulk.

That said, i'd love it if he is a Packer. From what I hear he's a pretty straight-up guy.
