I am partial to former Packers on the practice squad. If I was to predict/guess/wish for who the Packers sign it would be:

Birdine - With injury to Montgomery it is nice to have him close.

Blomvall - Reserve Center learning the position. There really is no back up Center.

Clowney -He is raw and needs it. Besides the Packers drafted him for a reason.

Harris - He may be the long snapper of the future. Davis is old.

Havner - Maybe.

Thompson - Cheaper than having him at 3rd QB.

White - Versatile at RB and FB and again with the injuries nice to have for quick activation.

Joe random sample pick up from another team. Position TBD

The rules for the practice squad are:

Less than 4th year in the league.
Less than 10 games on the 45 player game day roster.

Harris was a brutal TE; they can find a long snapper later.

Could they put Boddiford on the PS ? I think another team will claim him, but he was the best quality player we cut IMO.

The guy with the most upside, that I feel they should have kept, is Burdine.
I really hope they keep him also.

Other than that I just want T3 to get the best rest of the players.

I agree. Hopefully his injury keeps teams from bringing him in.

If a guy gets hurt he's a guy you put right to the roster and can also plug into ST.

Singed to the practice squad were wide receiver David Clowney, wide receiver Chris Francies, tight end Clark Harris, linebacker Spencer Havner, tackle Orrin Thompson, quarterback Paul Thompson and running back Corey White.

I got a few of them right.

TE Ryan Krause is the last person added to the practice squad.

He was just released on Saturday by the Cleveland Browns. Krause originally was a sixth-round pick of the San Diego Chargers and appeared in five regular-season games from 2004 to 2006.

That makes the 8-member practice squad look like:

receivers David Clowney and Chris Francies
tight ends Clark Harris and Ryan Krause
linebacker Spencer Havner
tackle Orrin Thompson
quarterback Paul Thompson
running back Corey White
