It's very obvious our run game is in total chaos at this point. With that in mind, let's play a little guessing game. How many times will #04 have to go to the air against Philly? I'm guessing 38

26. M3 is gonna keep trying...and if he doesn't then the number of snaps goes down, therefore the number of attempts goes down as well.

It depends on the offensive line. If they can open up holes then the running game can be relied on to move the ball, but if they fail to block as a unit then Favre is going to be put in a position to win the football game with his arm, meaning he will have to throw the ball 40 times a game, and that is not the way this team is supposed to function on offense.

Unless the defense is consistently bringing 8 guys into the box to stop the run, and Favre has a field day with the passing game, the Packers are in real trouble if they have to consistently battle 3rd and 8 or 3rd and 10.

there is no need to bring 8 guys in the box.

I'll go with 34 attempts.

No shit chet, but I was trying to give an optimistic reason why the Packers would throw the ball 35+ times a game.

I think the defense will have a direct effect on the carries. Long drives are impossible without a good running attack. so short fields will impact the amount of carries. I'm saying the defense will be stellar, and the offense will benefit. 30 carries, 35 throws.

I think Bubba is still the best all around tight end on the roster. I have a magical feeling that Bubba will turn it around this year and show us things in his arsenal that we have never seen.... GLUG GLUG GLUG

Favre averaged 38 passes per game last year. I'll say 42, as the Packers will try to use the short passing game in place of a solid running game to try to slow down the blitzing by Philly.

I think Jackson will run the ball OK. I'll say 32 because the offense will be on the field a lot and a lot of plays will mean a lot of throws.

I think the Nutroll is right. Bubba has lost weight. He is a guy who had a horrendous season last year. He has some pride and doesn't want last year to be his legacy. He is a wounded beast that will bounce back.

I'm going 47. No other way to score unless the D does it. They may me good, but I'm not counting on points.

18 - 33 - 211 yards - 2 tds - both to Jones - 2 interceptions.

Morency will have 15 attempts for 50 yards and Jackson will have 8 for 12 yards, but four first downs.

I have a feeling the D will give up long drives, but will stand strong in the redzone. So both the passing and running attempts will be down.

I know M3 wants to even it out, but I am guessing that Favre will be throwing at least 60% of the snaps. Unless, we are far enough ahead in the 4th that we start running the ball more to run down the clock.

36. That's 9 attempts a quarter, sounds about right to me.

They'll probably get hit with the double whammy - fall behind, and can't run the ball.

45 attempts, and 6 Ryan punts.

Some of you guys clearly don't understand how weak up the middle the Eagles are. They're pretty darn inexperienced and I would think our offensive line wins the battle in the trenches.

I suspect we rush for 120 yards between the players.

34 passes.

I am with Partial. I don't think that the Packers run game is 'in chaos'.

I see the Pack rushing for 140 yards, they start slow, but bust some nice ones late in the 3rd and in the 4th. Brandon Jackson gets fewer carries, but the most yards. He also catches a nice swing pass in the flats for a 25 yd gain to seal the victory. He adopts a pet turtle next month and names him Sid (When I am making prediction - I like to get quite detailed).

The Packers offensive line was handled by Philly. The run game is in chaos, or pretty close to it.
