It's only 12 hours away from the start of Packers 2007 season. We have discussed, argued, and torn each other apart over whether or not the team was gonna be a contender or pretender this season and now we are about to find out. Good cuz Im sick of waiting!

Yeah biotches!!!!

Let's rock the Eagles World!

We owe McNabb and Philly for a lot of things.

Time to unleash our defense on their azzes!

I'm sick of waiting for this thread :)

I am so friggin excited about this game. I'm 26 years old and I feel like I felt in 95 and 96 when the Packers were on the brink.

I'm a little worried about he Driver/Jennings/Mornecy injuries. If we pull these first ones out with the injuries it will be very good signs of things to come.

I'm excited every year for the Packers opener and the season.

Regardless of expectations.

After all, it's Packer footballl!!!

Live it, love it, learn it!

Guess what JH.

You damn well know the Packer D knows the story.

Driver/Jennings/Morency are banged up.

Let's carry the day.

Time to unleash the D.

My prediction aside ( I predict a Philly win) - THIS IS NOW FOOTBALL SUNDAY.

I expect the Packers to win, my adrenaline tells me so, I want the Packers to win. This is it!

BEAT DA EAGLES, NO, DESTOY THE PANSY MCNABB'STERS. WINNING IS EVERYTHING.

CHICKS ARE BAD WITH TIME

Normally they are late; I have a new theory. They are alarm clock challenged

My better looking half set the alarm clock for 5:00 AM to go to the game instead of 6:00 AM as she meant to; so she's sleeping and I can't get back to sleep even after staying up past 12:30 watching Da Badge.

Oh well, I will make it through the day on adrenaline.

Cheers, and Go Pack

RashanGary
09-09-2007, 06:05 AM
haha, I woke up at 6:00 and I can't sleep either. Have fun, B. I've been confident all off sesaon but suddenly I'm worried about losing. We need a win in a bad way here. We NEED this defense to hurt McNabb and teh Eagles early and often.

Bretsky
09-09-2007, 06:10 AM
Yes, you are absolutely right; the Eagles have a nice mix or run versus pass

Big Test for our squad

RashanGary
09-09-2007, 06:16 AM
The front 4 has to do their job. After that; Hawk, Poppinga, Bigby and Collins need to make every oppertunity to light up an eagle count. I want to see hard, vicious tackling. If this team isn't young and intimidatingly physical, they are nothing. The only way the Packers are going to beat the Eagles is by beating up the Eagles. We have to see a dozen or so plays where we go WOW, that had to hurt. I just think the key to beating Philly is hurting Philly from whistle to whistle.

Man, the opening game is finally here for the mightly North! Well, mighty is overstating it a bit. Enjoy the game guys and gals.

I'll be heading off to Town Hall brewery for a buffet breakfast and a few pints then to the dome to see what sort of goofy offense Bobby Petrino has designed with dogface heading to the slammer. Eagles Packers should be a good one.

With injuries to the offense it'll be a tough one for the Packers I think but who knows, they've been surprising me alot over the last half season. You guys do have reasons for optimism...I have fewer reasons for my squad but I'm stll looking at it optimistically until failures beat me down!

About damn time.

It has been months since I have donned the #4 jersey on my back. It feels good.

I will now go to Einstein Bagels where hordes of old people will say "Let's Go Pack." I will smile and wave, knowing that they don't even know 1 player on the Pack. Welcome to Naples.

If we lose it is not TT's fault, it is Mad's.

Good morning everyone and my favorite mexy.

Today is the day we've been waiting for! Let's cheer our team to a win today.

I am sneaking into the back posting from at work today. I will be popping in occasionally. 13 minutes until the live coverage starts.

With Jennings out, we're going to have to rely on our running game even more and hope JJ can continue to make plays. That is a pretty big hit for our inexperienced team.

Let's hope Carlyle and Ruvell have their chinstraps on and are ready to get some serious action today!!

Seems like BJack, Favre and Franks all could have done something better on that play. BJack could have blocked it better. Favre could have gunned it ... we know he doesn't need to set his feet to do it. I think Franks is the least culpable, because if the throw is short and behind, then there's only so much you can do to fight for the ball when your momentum is pulling you the other way.

It was totally obvious that Favre had to turn to avoid the guy Jackson DID'NT block and it effected his throw. Johnson even pointed it out on the replay. How can you miss it?

The problem was that Favre COULDN'T gun it because Jackson's guy was around his feet.

Favre needed to feel the pressure and not force a throw he couldn't step into. He could've stepped back and bought a lot more time.

Jackson OBLITERATED his guy...he just didn't pick him up right away and that allowed the guy to get near Favre's feet. The play happened right in front of Favre...he should have felt it coming and stepped back to avoid it. He would've had another 2-3 seconds to throw.
