The Oregonian newspaper stated the Miami Dolphins invited undrafted free agent Marcus Vick to a tryout for their rookie minicamp this coming weekend.

It will be interesting to see if he can use this "Second chance" offered to him by the Dolphins to turn his life around. In the several games I saw him play, the young man does possess athleticism and football skills.

Perhaps one of the biggest hurdles for Marcus is trying to avoid the comparisons to his brother. The Oregon Ducks now have a quarterback named Brady Leaf. You guessed it! He is the younger brother of NFL bust QB, Ryan Leaf.

In several away games late in the season(regular season QB Kellen Clemens had a season-ending injury in late October), Brady Leaf was routinely booed when introduced to the stadium. This is unfortunate because Brady is very different his older brother. He has a very positive, team-first relationship with his coaches, teammates, and fans in Eugene.

Though Micheal's attitude is much better than Marcus' demeanor, Marcus seems to carry the burden of constantly being compared to his older brother.

vick and his lil chester brother are both pieces of crap. Let him return kicks against whoever picked up the guy whose ankle he stomped on, Dumervil right? That way he can take his punkass out.

Somehow I doubt anyone will be calling Marcus overrated anytime soon.

MARCUS NOT LONG FOR MIAMI?

Jason Cole of the Miami Herald reports that former Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick was shaky in his debut with the Dolphins, during the first of a three-day invitation to the team's rookie minicamp.

Cole says that Vick looked "decidedly small" in the pocket, that Michael's little brother had a partial Uncle Rico release, and that some of Vick's downfield throws were inaccurate.

Vick also took some snaps at receiver.

Grilled about Vick by the media, coach Nick Saban said, ''It's a date. We're not getting married."
