As of 6PM CST:

Favre - 37%

Anderson - 36%

Palmer - 27%

A real testament to Favre's popularity as he had the worst game statistically of the three and is leading the voting.

Brett's definitely got my vote.

He played great Sunday against a strong pass rush and really excelled despite having an inconsistent running game. Also, the fact that it was a milestone win has to be considered as well.

The Bengals and Browns qbs were in a shoot-out. I don't know much about the two teams but I doubt that pass defense is their strengths. Both had a lot of yards, TD's, and a high completion percentage. The QB rating figures don't mean too much in a game like that. They basically cancel each other out in my opinion which leaves Brett as the best candidate for the award.

Between QB's right now the vote is Favre leading at 40%
and Anderson at 39%.

Very close.

Favre may get it by a nose but Anderson had a substantilly large game.

I can't believe Wynn was even in there. He had a 38 yard touchdown scamper, which was a great play, he froze the defender ridiculously, but other than that ONE play, we would've averaged about 2 yards a carry. I guess that one play was worth the nomination.

And you can still vote for him...

No thanks. I don't want him winning for that performance and getting all cocky. He has a long way to go, the last thing he needs right now is an award for a mostly subpar performance. He needs to get his ass in the video room and study his assignments against the blitz happy Chargers.

I've voted Favre as the press have declared Favre "dead" to many times in my book. I voted Wynn because I'm Green'nGold and lastly I voted Kubiak 'cos bringing Texans to the point they are now is pretty damn amazing.

Brett Favre Named NFC Offensive Player Of The Week

posted 09/19/2007

Quarterback BRETT FAVRE of the Green Bay Packers, linebacker BARRETT RUUD of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and punt returner-kick returner DEVIN HESTER of the Chicago Bears are the NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games played the second week of the 2007 season (September 16-17), the NFL announced Wednesday.

OFFENSE: QB BRETT FAVRE, GREEN BAY PACKERS

-Favre completed 29 of 38 passes (76.3 percent) for 286 yards with three touchdowns versus one interception in the Packers' 35-13 road win over the New York Giants. Favre notched the 149th victory of his career and moved passed Pro Football Hall of Famer JOHN ELWAY (148) for the most career wins by a starting quarterback in NFL history. The eight-time All-Star registered his 59th game with at least three touchdown passes and increased his career total to 417 touchdown passes, just three shy of Hall of Famer DAN MARINO's all-time mark of 420.

In his 17th season from Southern Mississippi, this is Favre's 11th career Player of the Week Award. Favre last won the award in Week 3 of 2006.

:D Thanks, Woody!

I'll take the real thing versus NFL.com's Fed-Ex award anyway.
