This is what was said about the move at Rotoworld.com:

"Packers signed OT Orrin Thompson from the practice squad.

"Thompson, a converted defensive lineman, worked solely at left tackle in camp. His activation may be a sign that the Packers are having doubts about Chad Clifton (ankle) for Sunday. Clifton was listed as probable Friday."

I was happy when I saw that we got Thompson on the PS. He's very raw but he showed improvement through out the preseason. We'd be in trouble if he had to start for us now, but there's a chance he could develop into a solid backup.
