For those that conversed with me back at JS you might recall joking between posters about how to conceive a boy. Mad has some unique views on that and was attempting to counsel me on this since up to this point I have two kids and the girl racers won both times.

I have two healthy daughers, and we have a third child coming along the way in February. At this point I do not think we intend to find out the sex ahead of time.

Hoping for a boy; but either way will be happy with a healthy newborn. Either way after this I'm officially retiring from making babies.

Cheers,
B

I'll keep you and your wife in my prayers. Congrats!

BTW, I saw something interesting recently. The cost of a baby born in 2006 through age 17 was estimated to be $197,700.

You're a finance guy so you know it already but save, save, save.

Cringing at the thought of a Bretsky Jr.

I can see it now if it's a boy......an official batting cage in the backyard for his 1st birthday!!

I will be relieved if it's a boy. I can stop living in fear you are going to kidnap mine. :P

I have a two acre lot; you read me well. If it's a boy we absolutely will have a batting cage and a Jugs Pitching Machine in the back yard.

Hell, we might even set up a field goal post. Who wants your kid to play football when he can make a MIL a year kicking the d@m ball.

Hopefully you listened up to what I said and ditched the romance crap.

Girls are made with sugar and spice and everything nice. But insensitivity, porn, sports, and sleaze help make a boy with ease.

Apparently you should have consulted with Dr. Shettles instead of Mad....

Congrats, Bretsky!

I can see it now if its a boy... By the time he is 8, Bretsky will make sure his son knows:

1. All the statistical comparisons of the quarterbacks who have played for the Packers.

2. The percentage tendencies of Bear's offensive play-calling on third down.

3. An in-depth analysis of the ARM's offered by different home mortgage companies.

4. His personalized calculator and pocket protector! :)

Man hope you have a girl. My son is 16 months old and I can't keep up with him, he torments me. He watches me clean something up and then he goes and trashes it again.

He has a great arm though. Tall, not much weight on him though, could be a QB. Has a nasty demeanor though, might be a rangy defensive end.

That's because he's your kid. He couldn't survive otherwise...
