With 11 receptions and 2 TD's he is on pace to have his best season since 2002.

I never trust my memory too well on things like this, but has he EVER played with as much enthusiasm as he has this year?

I think McCarthy must have a real fine touch with his players. If a message needs to be sent he is able to drop a player from starter to 2nd string for a few series or even a few days to send his message without any residual resentment. He got Bubba all fired up, that's for sure.

I think Daniel "Bubba" Franks' resurgence has been a helpful piece of the 4-0 puzzle at game-time, but it's his attitude has been supremely helpful to a team of 23 year-olds in the locker room and on the practice field imo.

I'm pleased he's gotten his wake-up call after last year--I've been impressed so far.

For the Packers, having Bubba come back and play well at TE is like being bummed about being broke and then finding twenty bucks in a pair of pants you haven't worn since last year.

I think Bubba was sick of people calling him a "an over priced bag of dog shit."

Bubba had to rebound some. He had to play better than last year.

Remember the Viking game?

It was like Bubba was playing for them.

Bubba has shown some pride. He absolutely stunk last year & he's rebounded this year. His blocking is still below his old level, but he's running routes & catching some balls.

Bubba indeed has been "rejuvenated." He is making catches, making blocks, and is more focused in completing his assignments.

how quickly we seem to forget that the te's were more blocker than receiver last year due to the protection schemes they used.

i'm glad to see the te's get more opportunities to produce this year...

I don't think Bubba is capable of making tough catches. (I know he layed-out and almost got one last game.) He's a bit clumsy. But he does use his big body well to sheild defenders. Come to think of it, his game at TE is much like the brand of "power basketball" that my dad played in our driveway.

I'm not being critical of Bubba, he's an ok player giving his all.

LMAO. There's a thought!

But alas, it was PROVEN that Bubba had butter on his hands all season. I remember reading it, therefore it must be true.

Thank God Bubba is back, even partially. Renews my faith in the human race.

Bubba look like he put on some muscle. On a few of the close ups you can tell he was so shaggy looking like when I shook his hand after the 2002 @ SF game. Im real happy with the results.

I'm glad Daniel hasn't slept through any practices this year. Go Bubba!
