Packers waived OT Orrin Thompson and activated WR Koren Robinson from the reserve/suspended list.

The Pack somewhat surprisingly took no time to make this move, despite being on a bye in Week 7. They apparently believe Robinson is in good enough shape to contribute immediately. Thompson, a developmental converted defensive lineman, should make it back to the practice squad.

Bodiford and Blackmon breath easy.

Thompson will very likely clear waivers and join the practice squad.

I like the move even if it is considered premature. Ruvell Martin will not like it much.

I like the move even if it is considered premature. Ruvell Martin will not like it much.I wouldn't be surprised that the Redskins will snatch him up. After playing the aggressive Packers DL they lost 3 OL men they are in disparate need of OL hlep.
