Can anyone explain how to downsize a photo that is bigger than 90 X 90? Please be specific and simple. Internet For Dummies was written with me in mind.

My method is to send it to Madtown and beg, but I'm sure there's a more efficient way out there

Mailman,

What do you do when it's close to quiting time and you still got a half-full mailbag for route 25? Why, you find a dumpster in some back alley and unload some of it.

Same sort of deal with a photo. You just lob-off a bit, nobody will notice.

Mailman,
It is too painful to describe how to resize a photo. Just post a link to photo and let somebody else do it. I know, teach a man to fish, and all that jazz.....

Maybe you could get someone to help you in upsizing your avatar. 40 X44?

Joe,

That is an AWARD WINNING avatar.

Does anybody ever suggest trimming the Mona Lisa? Adding a few more lillies to a Monet? Show some respect.

You get "Irfanview"
It is a free, very easy to use program for basic imaging manipulation.

Here's a link to a very basic (but good) tutorial on how to use it and resize pics: Click Me (http://www.somewhere-in-time.net/tutorial/irfanview/)

Then after you're familiar w/irfanview, here's another link that will show you more of the things it is capable of doing: Click Me (http://www.iss.k12.nc.us/schools/media/irfanv.htm)

Orrrrr....as previously mentioned, just PM me the image and i'll resize it for you :D

Great advice by all.

If anyone feels they dont want to take on the challenge just post a link to what you want and one of us will handle it or email to me using the address in my profile.

second vote for Irfanview here. I've used it for years, and it's great.

Be nice to the programmer though - send him a few buck for a fabulous product.
