That's a tough hit to the Colts' D.

Not sure if they have enough to cover his loss. That leaves the AFC between the Steelers and the Pats. :(

Tough luck for Indy; hope Freeney is ready for next season.

Man, that is huge. I think they now have NO chance to beat the patriots. If harrison doesnt make it back the might not even win 1 playoff game.

Yup, the passrush is what makes Indy's defense go. Losing Freeney might not be quite as damaging as losing Sanders was last year, but it's close.

Is there a Colts fan around we could maybe apologize to for this?

The signed Simeon Rice before they put Freeney on IR. He's no where near as talented today as he was a few years ago, but he should be a good stopgap. He's basically just an older, less productive at this stage in his career Freeney.

The ponies might not win that division.

JVille can run the ball and stuff other teams.

Pitt and Jax may just play for the AFC championship.

Colts will be fine.

Still see an Indy-NE AFC Championship game brewing.

For the record: I'm not happy to see Freeney go down. What I'm happy about is the look on Laser Rocket Arm's face when the Colts lose:
