Historically, Oregon has provided relatively few players to the NFL. Though Oregon is geographically larger than Wisconsin, it only has 3 and 1/2 million people.

Despite its small population base, it has two Division I-A schools, Oregon and Oregon State, and one Division I-AA school, Portland State. It also has half a dozen Divison III football programs.

Here is a list of current NFL players with Oregon ties. Some of them are from Oregon but played college ball out of state:
