Now that everyone else has seen the light, you are the only one left still carrying the sign that says, "The world is going to end in 2005." Half the joy of winning is being able to laugh at those who predicted disaster, and there you are, still offering yourself up for the old pie in the face, too stubborn to say, "Hey gang, ain't it great!" Instead, it is the old, "Yeah, but . . ." The ultimate feeble come back.
