That looked too easy ?

RashanGary
11-29-2007, 07:57 PM
AFter that bad call the whole team lost composure. McCarthy had the same scared look that he had in the Bears game. They need to relax, but when Favre is bad he is really REALLY bad so I don't have a lot of hope.

b bulldog
11-29-2007, 07:57 PM
The refs made a bad call but they are out of our league. We can't stop the run and our Oline is getting it handed to them.

Koren...needs to get us a big return..and then #4 can get this thing rolling again.

GBRulz
11-29-2007, 07:58 PM
This is exactly what I was worried about. Refs fuck us, Favre panics like he has in every big game in the last 7 years and we lose.

oh shut up already, geez. It's not even the end of the 1st qtr

b bulldog

Our D is now playing a top notch O and we are struggling. We get no pasrush and we struggle against the run.

digitaldean
11-29-2007, 07:58 PM
Yeah, the O has to pick up the tempo and damn quick. But man, let's keep the sharp objects away from wrists, will ya guys?? I'm not about to jump off the bridge yet.

RashanGary
11-29-2007, 07:59 PM
All fucking week Dallas talked about not getting beat deep. All Favre had to do was stay patient but this is hwat he does when the staeks get big. He throws into triple coverage.

b bulldog
11-29-2007, 07:59 PM
Why do we need to throw the friggin ball long all the time tonight. That is not who we are.

So I suppose the rest of the year has been just a mirage, huh?

I'm not saying the Packers are playing good on offense, but man, take a Valium!

I suppose the defensive holding we just got a first on is Brett's fault, too!

Bush fucking sucks. Woodson is a huge loss. Cowboys can motion TO and get him matched up on Bush and the safeties. I'd feel a lot better if they were motioning him into Woodson.

RIPackerFan
11-29-2007, 08:13 PM
We need to send 5 after Romo - none of this sending 4. Dallas is consistently sending 5 or 6 after Favre and getting in his face. We are getting no pressure what-so-ever.

Our coaches need to change the game plan, cause it ain't working.

b bulldog
11-29-2007, 08:13 PM
Well people, this Cowboy team is better than us. Not jumping off any bridges or anything but even if healthy, we won't get pressure on Romo and they will still get pressure on Brett.

b bulldog
11-29-2007, 08:15 PM
Nick buddy, KGB wouldn't even be in then and Harris is also getting toasted. Yopu have no clue, sorry. Our pass rush specialist isn't in on first down. Chuck doesn't cover the TE or he wasn't going to cover Owens either.

Favres play today is inexcusable. He's played good all year and as soon as the game gets big he panics and bombs up INT's into triple coverage. It's one thing if it's a great play or a freak mistake like the last one, but he's been bombing shit throws into cover 2 all day. Favre deserves to lose this one no matter what happens.

Where is a good place to get a feed of the Packer radio network on the internet? There is no way in hell I can listen to Bryant Gumbel call play-by-play on this game. He is horrible.

Check Westwood One's website for their radio broadcast location near you...I'm listening to it with them. They have Dick Enberg on play by play and Denny Green on color, and they do a good job (although Enberg misspoke early on when he said that most NFL teams wear white jerseys at home...Dallas (usually), Washington and Miami do, but I'm not sure about anyone else.

Rodgers is a guy who is going to have to be mentally ahead of the game. His arm doesn't look overly strong, he's not tall in the pocket, he doesn't look like a strong guy.

The thing that worries me is that he looks very unsure of where to throw the ball. He seems to hold it or throw it to coverage.

Brett has had a great season, but this is exactly how he played in the playoffs the last 2 or 3 times he was there. I just don't understand why he feels he has to bomb the ball in big games.

I like what Rodgers has done, but he's held the ball too much. If he doesn't have it, he needs to learn how to gun it where his guy will catch it or no one rather than getting hit. I could see him giving up a lot of fumbles because he doesn't get rid of the ball.

we've got to start blizting and getting some pressure on Romo

keep up the shorter passes

run the ball more

kicking past the 10 yard line...and better coverage on ST

I am worried about our D more than our O - we have to get some more pressure on Romo - I don't know if anybody can cover TO tonight, so at least get some pressure on Romo and rattle him.

Does Favre come back this game (if he can) or do they let Rogers play it out?

Rodgers is playing winning football. Brett was just tossing it up for grabs. I really don't understand why he was doing that. He's had a great year, but damn, you start to wonder if he's got an anxiety problem in big games because the last time he won a big game was over 10 years ago.

I beleive Rodgers will be our QB of the future but if Brett is ready to go he should be the starter till he is not ready to be the starter.
I blame MM for games like this when haris had that bad call early MM lost it and it showed through the whole team Brett went to the gun slinger MM didnt say any thing to him to reign him in he should have threatned to pull him even if it was just a bluff if he didnt setle down and get his head back into the game but I think MM was still so upset about the call that he was still seeing red.

Well, we can't possibly play any worse.

Offensive gameplan was horseshit. The defense is allowing Romo to sit back there and have all day to throw the ball.

We are only down 10. The defense needs to make some plays. I think the offense will be OK.

Hi Packerrats,

I'm watching the game here in Denmark, man it's been brutal so far. I'm still shaking from the injury to Favre. Rodgers has looked cool even though he's a bit rusty but Jennings has stepped up plus looks fired up.

Packers D ain't even close, for the most part, in getting pressure on Romo...and don't get me started on the play by the secondary. Just awful.

Let's get the best out of it and get healthy soon; that's especially Favre, Woody and KGB.

Well - watching this game closely - had to catchup on TiVO.

M3 getting away from the game - why not cont doing what's worked for so long?

Defense having KGB, Woodson, Jolly, etc out -- plus Favre throwing 2 INTs leading to TDs and getting hurt. Man - does this suck.

At least Jennings makes plays - and Grant is playing well.

Driver finally gets a catch.

Brett's still #1. He got a nerve dinged. He can't hold the ball OK. He'll be fine by the next game.
