he also said he'd be fine most likely and that he can grip a football.. so thats good news

Why was he having his right forearm massaged, then? I think he had two different injuries if that is the case.

That's how it seemed in the presser he seemed reluctant to admit it, but he did . It's two separate injuries, said the forearm was same (helmet to elbow), but different than last year.

Favre said the right elbow injury was the same as the one he suffered against NE but this time there is less pain. Seperated left shoulder as previously stated.

The legend of Favre will continue as he has 10 days to recover instead of a regular week. He will play against OAK next Sunday and the streak will remain.

Well, I expect we'll see a 3rd string QB appointed to the roster.

We have already two of them:

C.Woodson and R.Martin :P

I know it's Favre, but elbow and shoulder injuries are serious when you're talking about a QB. He's a big reason they are 10-2. I'm concerned about the shoulder if it is a separation...must not be a serious one. With each year, it's gotta take a little longer to heal up. I'm glad they have a few extra days...Favre and the rest of the team is going to need them. I'd expect Rodgers will see some practice snaps this week. I wonder if they'll call Aaron Brooks again? ;)

Left shoulder separation, he has played with that type of injury before. The elbow is the one he has had problems with getting hit over the years. Like a forearm stinger, he said he couldn't grip the ball to throw it properly. MM said he is sure he will play next week. Take it for what it's worth.

I heard Favre say he would probably just have his left (non-throwing) shoulder shot up before the game and as long as he got feeling back in his fingers and the swelling in the elbow goes down, he'll be OK.
