Wow--I thought this might be the day Miami broke its losing streak, but Buffalo has already put 31 up on them in the first half.

I took Buf for 16 in the pickem league.

Yea Baby! I'm a big Dallas fan, just for this week. Vikes need the Lions to lose.

I'm not heartbroken if the Lions lose today, it means we win the division.

I am, however, a big fan of the Texans and Cardinals today.

I think the key to the second half here is to score points on more than 40% of the drives deep into Oakland territory.

That's why it's good to call deep balls. If you get the right defense and get a good throw, it changes the game. MM did a fine job calling the plays last week. It was just an off day for everyone and they were playing a really good team.

Lurker64

Lame ass call on the roughing.

I think it was a karmic call. There were a couple earlier that were borderline and not called, so the third time it's borderline you call it.

At the very least, it's in the NFL's interest to discourage the defense from just continually going after QBs "sorta late." The average standard of QB play in this league is poor enough already, there's no need to put Craig Nall on TV.

That call wasn't as clear as you think. True, his knee never touched the ground, But, had the ball not already been loose it could have easily been rendered "down by contact" because his knee looks like it could be skimming the ground. I could have seen them saying the replay was inconclusive and upholding the down by contact ruling.

Will Blackmon is now a lock for Special Teams Player of the Week. 2 TD's today. Welcome back, Big Willy style. ;)

On the blitz where Barnett got to McNown (3rd down a couple of drives ago), they sent both Bigby and Barnett. Bigby was the first man in and he was sent to engage the blocker so Barnett could come in clean, which he did.
