I will honestly admit, I guessed the Packers would go 10-6 at the start of the season and challenge for the division, but I never could've imagined this. What a season so far. Congrats to the Packers.

Great picture, Joe!
As our official mail carrier of the PR website, are you going to deliver one of those shirts for each one of us?

Congrats on the North title. Very impressive. M3 is a pretty damn solid coach.

This game featured some very important intangibles to the Packer 2007 mix, that can only help us in the weeks ahead:
1. Will Blackmon 'earns his stripes'. The confidence boost - of the entire team -from his performance will help. Whenever a player shows he can be a difference maker, it's a major help. The more players who can step up in a game, the better.
2. Atari Bigby's play should also boost HIS confidence. The return for touchdown was only nullified by a very iffy penalty.
3. Ryan Grant's performance was another major boost to the 'balance' goal.

I felt the offensive line did a great job of run blocking and pass protection.
Nick Collins had a couple of great tackles stopping 1st down conversion attempts on 3rd down.
Linebackers Nick Barnett and A.J. Hawk were active. Barnett had 3 great pressures on the QB.

This division title doesn't matter. TT has not met my three benchmarks fpr success and should be fired. Rodgers is a bust. Rayner should have been kept. TT sucks! /Merlin :D
Seriously though, great job to TT, MM, Brett and the rest of the team. 2007 NFC North Champs.

You guys can rip on Barnett all you want, but when he had that injury and came out of the game, I did have a mild panic attack. How sweet to have the North back.

quite.
Actually, it was emotional and illogical.

It will be a travesty if Barnett is not in the Pro Bowl.

Great! NFC North (the old Central) Division Champs!
The only thing that would have made it better would have been Detroit finishing off Dallas. Grrrr.... Jason Hanson!

I think I predicted 10-6 and a squeak into the playoffs. But I had them losing most of their first few games and then getting better later in the season as a young team should improve. Once they beat SD I revised to 11-5 and I will still be wrong. Never felt so good!

Nick Collins had a couple of great tackles stopping 1st down conversion attempts on 3rd down.
He also made the play that gave Bigby his interception. All three plays weren't just decent plays. They were fantastic plays.

Outstanding safety play today. Great day for the defense all-around. If Barnett hadn't had to come out for a while due to injury, they might have had a shutout.

you'll be able to test my theories early.
I'm predicting 16-0 and a Super Bowl win. And 15 Pro Bowlers.

in light of this game, I've relooked at the upcoming schedule.
After some thought, I'm standing by my 16-0 undefeated season prediction for the Pack.
Me and Bob McGinn were optimistic coming into the season.
If the Packers finish 14-2, that would be a better regular season record than Holmgren's best, and the best Packer record since Lombardi's 1962 13-1 team.

I wrote nowhere that I thought they would have a tougher schedule (really didn't see the AFC West self-destructing even with Norv) and could easily go 7-9 while playing better.
I was hoping for 8 or nine wins to take the heat of McCarthy and Thompson.
Clearly, I set my sights way too low. Rarely have I been happier to be wrong.
Congratulations and here's to them wrapping up the number 2 seed next week.

Ted officially met my expectations today - a division championship. Everything from here on out is gravy. Congratulations to the Packers!

Congrats Pack. I had them at 9-7, but that gets thrown out technically because of my Rat Name, 4and12to12and4, but hell, we may even surpass that, unreal, what a season.

I hope that 4and12to12and4 is wrong... Can you change his name to 4and12to17and2 when this season is over? 8-)
The Packers are 19-10 since McCarthy took over. 15-2 over the last 17 games...

Um. well his record is good, but not quite that good. My math gets me to 19-10....
8-8 + 11-2 = 19-10.....
Hats off to the team as well, I was at the game, and other than the cold, enjoyed myself immensley.
19-10.... I'll take it. :P

His quote on the radio about it was something along the lines of: "It was cold. That water's cold. Maybe next year I'll try to win it earlier."

Especially when it conerns those arrogant Bears clowns who are awfully quiet now that their team is back in last place where they belong.
