After today, he has 717 yards rushing on the season with 3 games to play.
Who would have thought..... 283 yards over the remaining three games nets him a 1000 for the season. 95 yds/game over the remaining three.

To say the least, Ryan Grant has been a very pleasant surprise for the Packers.

Grant's season reminds me of Ahman Green's first season here. Really came on strong in the second half.

Maybe that's because he didn't get to play in the first half...

I thought he was listed as inactive today.

Grant seems slow getting up sometimes. But then he comes back with a big run. He has great vision. Seems to makes all his moves on the go. He is why I think the Packers have a great chance to make it to the Superbowl.
Ooops, did I say the SB word? I guess that is OK now that we can say the P (playoffs) word!

how did peterson do today?
i heard someone say the other day that since the week grant became the starter he's been the leading rusher in the nfc. that was before peterson's 300 yard game though i think.

No, Rich Gannon said it during the game today, but remember, AP was out for a game or two there as well.

What I remember hearing was that in the last 8 games, Grant has been the leading rusher in the NFL.

Good point. Very similar. Barely played early, but went over 1000 yards only starting about half the games.

I think it was the last 6 games heading into today, so the last 7 weeks. I think Fargas was 2nd in rushing over that same period.

4 yards on 13 carries isn't bad. Is it?

Actually, I think Tomlinson came before Fargas and after Fargas came Westbrook.
Fargas is actually a pretty good back. I haven't watched him a lot, but he's good. He looks somewhat like Noah Herron.

I wonder what the stat was. Grant had 561 rushing yards in his last 6 games. Fargas had more--with 591 rushing yards in his last 6 games. LT had 522 rushing yards.

Perhaps it was yards from scrimmage?

I think the fact that Brandon Jackson was inactive today says a lot about Grant's progress. Was Jackson injured in practice, or was he just sucking again?
OK, I'll ease up off of Jackson. I will give credit to the offensive line, though: when Morency took over for Grant he was still getting good yardage so they did a great job clearing the way for both backs today.
