This is officially a TRAP GAME. With that said; Packers should win and must win or they don't deserve a 1st round bye. I think Packers fall behind early and claw their way back. Rams have a MONSTER at RB; stop Jackson.

Brock Berlin is their quarterback, and their running with a pee-wee line.

Kampman should take over the nfl sack leader again..

I expect no less than 5 sacks from the team.

I'd be absolutely dumbfounded if any team in the NFL could hold our team to a field goal. We just have WAY WAY too much firepower for that.

I agree with those who say this is a trap game. Packers just scrape by in this one.

I love it!

You might have persuaded me to go higher, but I'm gonna stick with my first thought:

Packers ---> 874

Rams ---> 8

I think it's gonna be even closer than you think ... :!:

Bulger on track to return to starting role

ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger took all the repetitions in practice on Wednesday and is on track to return after missing two games with a concussion.

Coach Scott Linehan said he'd wait until Friday, after two more days of practice and no symptoms, before saying Bulger will start Sunday's home game against the Green Bay Packers.

"I thought he looked fine," Linehan said. "More importantly, it's how he gets through the week."

Linehan was cautiously optimistic after last week, when Bulger received medical clearance on Tuesday and practiced for two days before experiencing a setback and sitting out a 19-10 loss at Cincinnati.

Bulger didn't want to compare how he felt on Wednesday to how he felt a week ago.

"I'd hate to sit here and play a percentage game or guess whether I'm going to play or not," Bulger said. "I felt good today and I'm just going to wait until Friday."

Last week the Rams were also without backup Gus Frerotte, who has a shoulder injury, and elevated Brock Berlin from the practice squad to make his NFL debut.

This could be a fairly close game if Bulger can play effectively.

Packers 948, Rams -17.

I don't think the Rams will get up to 0 points. Packers D will be too pumped. However, the Rams will make a late charge when the Pack goes up 948 to -33 because MM will pull the starters. Rams will be able to get to -17 by the final whistle.

I hope the Packers stomp the Rams and every team the rest of the way. They need to make a statement. The Patriot are going to try to have the biggest blowout in history over the Jets. Maybe the Packers should try to score more.

Marc Bulger is a very underrated QB, IMO. He isn't spectacular, but he is very steady and accurate with his passes. Steven Jackson is also a versatile running back.

It may be a more difficult game than many Packer fans realize.

Bulger may start, but all the starters from the O line aren't gonna be back in there, and that's Bulger's (and Frerotte's) problem to begin with. We should see some pass rush this week, and Bulger might not be in there for long.

If Bulger gets thrown out there he may not stay up for long.

The Pack will win this one 30-16.

EVERYTHING would have to go St. Louis' way for the Rams to win--turnovers, a special teams touchdown, a couple of bad calls, and 12 points from Wilkins might create an upset, but if Green Bay is an elite team this year, and I think they are, they will get after the Rams early and come away big winners.

The Rams only touchdown last week came on a pick 6 against Carson Palmer. Granted, it was at Cinci, and it was in a cold rain, with Brock Berlin as the starter. I know Steven Jackson got 91 yards, but I would have expected the Steven Jackson show against one of the weaker defenses in the league. If the Packers rush the passer well, (and STL O-line is so banged up, why wouldn't they?) and do a reasonable job against Steven Jackson, I think they can win it.

Green Bay wins 37-30. Safeties/Secondary are going to be in for a real test this game. Hopefully, they build off of the Raiders game, and keep the momentum going.

Just keep in mind that this is the defense that shut down LT and AP and has been keeping their opponents mostly in check. They even almost caught Dallas. The only way they don't win this game is if they all suddenly play absolutely putrid football 'cause I just don't see M3 allowing anyone to overlook this game.
