Marks the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party.

I think now is a good time for yet another revolution in our country.

You should tell 10 friends today about the tea party and at the very least make them aware of what Ron Paul stands for.

I admire Ron for his efforts and his campaigning through the internet all of the candidates can take note from, but he'll ultimately fall short. The only way he gets on the ballot is if he runs as an independent, but he's stated before he won't do that. Whether that holds true over time remains to be seen.

I would be ecstatic if he won. At the very least he will open some eyes. He is a very, very wise man.

Ron Paul hit 12 million in donations today. That means he shattered the all-time record for campaign donations that he already held on November the 5th (gunpowder plot day). Awesome. Hurray for America!!

Pfft.

Jerry Lewis gets more in donations every Labor Day.

Ron Paul has a tube steak the size of Louisiana, and shaped like it too, which further enhances his legendary status among young, highly impressionable idealists.

He's got my vote.

Ron Paul is a crackpot. Appeals to those who have no understanding of the law of unintended consequences.

Ron Paul day is over. Time to switch back everything.

What do you mean by that?

He takes aim at a lot of big, looming, unpopular targets, such as the IRS, the Federal Reserve, etc. and says they should be abolished because they're not in the constitution. Never mind the fact that our financial infrastructure depends upon these institutions. The sweeping changes he wants to make sound good to those who don't understand all that these institutions do, but beware the unintended consequences of failing to fund your government (the IRS) or failing to stabilize your banking industry (the Fed). Ron Paul wants to drive the U.S. economy into the third world. Of course he wants there to be almost no government. That's working well for Somalia.

Over a decade ago, Bill Clinton ran and won on a platform of "It's the economy, stupid." Ron Paul wants to run on a platform of "Fuck the economy." and "I'm stupid."

I don't understand why Paul is running for the Republican nomination. If he wants to run for President, he should run as an independent. It's independent voters that he appeals to, not the die-hard Republicans who gave us Bush.
