DD for game MVP after duping two defenders on that decoy route.

Jennings for blocking two guys at ONCE on that long DD catch and run.

Just like the run game and Oakland, we shouldn't get too high about the Special Teams versus St. Louis. According to my favorite stat site, footballoutsiders.com, the Rams ST's are ranked 29th in the league.

Hey Tooo. . .neeee. :)

Want to see a passing record set. . . . really soon?

OK then. . .

YOU GET YOUR WISH. . . real soon. :)

There it is:

1-10 GB38 (14:45) B.Favre pass short left to D.Driver to GB 45 for 7 yards (F.Brown).

Favre now has the record by 5 yards and counting.

Just another record.

Time to get it going overall.

I know . . . as Packer fans we expect a lot. :)

WE deserve a lot too. :)

That's exactly where Favre's head has been the past few ** years.

I've just revised a typo fr. tears to years. . it's been difficul .

Records are nice but . . .it's the win and the BIG WIN- THE Super BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP )

That's ALL there really is.

Even though Jackson is still getting positive yards, they seem to be doing a better job of staying home on the backside.

A rare drop by Isaac Bruce. Nice toss sweep to Jackson. Does Cullen Jenkins ever stay at home??? Godd playcall though in that situation.....

#3 QB Carolina Panthers

Height: 6-3 Weight: 202 Age: 23

Born: 8/9/1984 Van Nuys , CA

College: Oregon State

Experience: Rookie

High School: William S. Hart HS

That undrafted QB is running the offense todat forthe Panthers and holding his own Vs Matt Hasselbeck and the Seahawks.

As a matter of fact soon the underdog Panthers will take the lead in that game.

Yup John Kasay just kicked a 37 yard FG and it's 6-3 Panthers with under 3 min's. remaining in the 4th Qtr.

Amazing stuff and after that 49ers win last night.

when was the last time we had a first round bye in the playoffs?

When the dogcatcher beat us 27-7.

I hate how Bulger ducks his head on every sack. I bet he gets a lot of penalties called on defenders with that. Its also easy to see why he gets so many concussions.

Bruce drops another pass? Wow. Turnover on downs.

It's a hard question. You don't want to get your starters injured, but you also don't want to go cold since a 3 week layover is very long indeed.

You also don't want to lose to the Bears twice, and you don't want to lose 2 games at Lambeau this year. So I'd probably play to win the last two.

He didn't get carted off the field. He got a ride into the lockerroom to get x-rays and a tape job. I'm sure it was just because it was faster. It wasn't like he was lying on the cart in agony or anything. He was sitting in the front seat of the golf cart getting a ride.

All in all, todays game was interesting for me.

I thought they played a very shitty game defensively. Corey Williams was pretty invisible, as was Kampman. They had 4 back-up offensive linemen in as well and Barron slid down to left tackle as well. That is just flat-out concerning that we couldn't generate some serious pressure.

As usual, we did well in pass protection but we lost the battle in the trenches. I didn't see any holes open up for Grant.

Favre doesn't look quite right. I think he's still hurting pretty badly.

Nick Collins was invisible. I didn't hear his name at all today. Rouse layed the wood a few times.

Why are linebackers still being matched up with quality receivers? Hawk was on Bruce for a play I know.

Barnett and Hawk both played exceptional imo. That is weird to say though, since we were gashed on the ground.

I do think, though, that with Bulger and Jackson healthy and the OL playing to the extent of their ability (i.e. as well as they did today), the Rams have a better offense than: the Seahawks, the Giants, the Bucs, the Vikings, and the Redskins, who are almost certainly seeds 3-7 in the NFC.

I'm confused as to whether I even want home field for the Championship. Look at how New England played in shit weather today. If we are truly a more talented team, we don't want the elements screwing us. I know Favre can play in the cold, but what about all these young guys from the south, and what if it's really windy, and we HAVE to run it. Anyone watching the Giants/Redskins? Nobody can throw in that crap. Well, actually Favre's arm would still give us the advantage in the wind, because he probably could still throw all but the deep ball. I don't know. Either way, the best thing is, we are sitting out the first week and the bottom line is, if we win one home game this postseason, we are in the NFC Championship game. Unreal.

Our D as a whole is pretty disappointing imo.

We held a pretty good offense to 14 points. Jackson is one of the top 3 RBs in the league IMO. Bulger is a top 10 QB, although I'm not sure he is still 100%. Holt and Bruce are still decent weapons.

I will admit that our defense really struggled in the first half...but they came out more focused and aggressive in the second half and really took it to the Rams.

Carolina_Packer
12-17-2007, 10:53 AM
That seemed to be the M.O. the last two weeks. The Packers were up 14-7 at half against Oakland at home and then made adjustments for the second half. I'm glad they can make those adjustments, but it would be nice for them to come out and take a team behind the woodshed to establish a lead and then keep the pressure on them.
