San Diego up 17-0 against the Lions at the start of the 2nd.

Tony Romo makes a big pass to Witten. In the Red Zone Romo throws an INT, it's taking out of the end zone by the Eagles and the guy fumbles it at around the 15. Eagles are challenging the ruling of a fumble.

Romo is 2/12 so far.
Cowboys make the 33 yard FG.

Don't you love how SHIT lucky the Cowboys get?
First, the Paris Lenon thing last week - and now this?
It makes me fucking puke.

Picked off by Lito Shepard. THe Eagles have a chance to put some points up on the board before the end of the half.
One observation, when Romo has a bad day it's pretty bad. 9.8 QB Rating for Tony.
If the Packers catch him on a bad day that could be our key to winning.

Packers should take some notes on how the Eagles are scheming against the Cowboys...

why did westbrook NOT run that into the endzone? what if the fumble here and it's run back? dang.

Man, Philly looks certain to win it. If the usually reliable Jason Hanson can make a chip shot last week (in a freakin' dome), the Packers would be looking at home field throughout (at least in the lead).

They were at the 2 minute warning and Dallas had no time outs. Three successful kneels out of the victory formation win the game, without worrying about a quick score and an onside kick or any of that.
Woo! Go Panthers! Go Redskins!
If we end up tied, it will give me a bigger reason to officially HATE detroit.
Reminds me a little of a few years back when the Cards somehow beat the vikes at the end of the game...Gonna be (hopefully) a fun couple of weeks.

That's right! And with a little luck, we could be hosting quite the bash for the NFC Championship! Back in Lambeau where it belongs!!!!
I'm soooo happy right now!

Speaking of.... one of my season ticket holding friends just offered me tickets for a playoff game. No, he's not that nice, he just has 12 other tickets to go around!!
$108 is face value.... $148 if the NFC Champ game is here. I can only imagine what the scalpers will be getting for these.

I've already heard that the worst seat in Lambeau if it was against the Cowboys for the Halas trophy would be at least $500
By the way....Cowboys got badly beat up today...that could be HUGE for our chances.
GBRulz
12-16-2007, 06:55 PM
I'm not sure end zone seats would be that much, but who knows.
I have been to almost every home playoff game at Lambeau since the mid 90's and this is the first time that I've ever been able to get tickets in advance at face value.
Every time we've found someone selling tickets in the parking lot. You can't sell tix for over face value in the city of GB, it's a law. Cross the street to Ash and it's a different story. Anyhow bulldog, I would give that a shot if you can't get tix ahead of time.

You never want to see guys get hurt, but Gurode and Canty getting hurt does help the Packers on both sides of the ball. You don't want to see it happen, but I'm sure when the Cowboys saw Woodson and KGB hurt they felt the same way: Too bad for them, but it helps your team.

I wonder how long it will be until the Redskins complete a pass. I'm pretty sure we want the Redskins to win, right? That way they potentially have something to play for against Dallas?
Joemailman
12-16-2007, 08:07 PM
I don't know if the Redskins having something to play for is that big of a deal. Cowboys/Redskins is kind of like Bears/Packers. The underdog will always be fired up to play the game no matter what the records are.

Why are draw plays working in this game? The Redskins are not credible passing threat in this weather with this QB.

That hit Toomer in a bad spot: Right on the numbers, cradled in his arms, where there wasn't a tackler withing 2 yards. I can understand how he wouldn't make the catch.

He isn't use to the ball being anywhere near his upper body, because his QB is shit.

I said that the day people said he needed to be the #1 pick....a few good QB's on bad college teams can raise the level of their university...Eli NEVER did that at Ole Miss. Cutler did that at VAndy, and I still don't think Cutler is that good, but still better than Eli.

I agree about Eli, but I think Cutler can be a special QB in this league, he has ten times the arm Eli has, and he's just a smarter football player. He gets it. He's got Denver playing pretty damn good. I can see him getting to a Superbowl, he's got the poise.

Um, Denver is 6-8 now after getting blown up by Houston Thursday night.

But Denver has beaten Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Tennessee all of whom are better teams than anybody New York has beaten. All the good to halfway decent teams the Giants have played, they lost to.
