Anna's flight got cancelled from Orlando tonight to come back home to the Brew City. Due to it being caused by weather, they didn't put her in a hotel or anything so she is just going to stay up all night at the airport (been there since 4pm) and catch a flight at 6 am.

I am going to stay up with her since I am such a gentleman and don't have anything else going on.

Let's discuss the finer things in life. All night long.

So this EEE PC is looking to be quite solid. Here is a comparison photo of the size of it to a DVD case. It is tiny.

That's a good movie.

Also, the screen is only 7" but it is low res so it will be fine. The foot print is a little bit bigger to accomodate speakers and to allow the machine to be thinner.

Jeez, I haven't seen that one in years.

Aren't there several solid Bill and Ted flicks? I remember watching one in middle school history class since they went and visited like Abe Lincoln and other famous figures.

You know it. I'm ready eee pc reviews and looking up Packer highlights. If you're still up, check out the game thread and some of the clips I posted. They are most excellent!

Yeah it sucks, but it happens and its not the end of the world. I'm actually enjoying the all-nighter. I am catching up on some internet reading :D

I posted a slew of highlight videos in the game thread Tar. Hopefully they bring us the necessary karma for a magical performance from #4

Yeah I saw them. Great memories and I hope we get vengeance for the loss we witnessed!

Will you be working tonight, Partial? We need everybody in their usual game-winning routines. Don't wanna mess with the Mojo!

Unfortunately I have a friends get-together to attend so I won't be at Sears but I think we'll still have enough mojo to bring home a W. After all, its personal now after the PR game :D

I forgot to mention but a few weeks back I saw a gentleman in Sears wearing a T-shirt for your company. I remembered it because I had your card in my pocket. Small world!

Cool, did you talk to the guy?

Briefly. He was looking at snow blowers but didn't seem to want to be bothered.

Pisser! I never said my company only employed good dudes!

I was just surprised they were that big! I figured it was a German and European company. To see that in America was eye-opening and sort of a wow moment for me.

Why are you staying up all night if you are not communicated with her? Sounds like silly puppy love.

I called her every hour and talked to her for 15 minutes to keep her awake. She appreciated the company and her parents thought it was very nice. Always good to win the brownie points.

And how do you redeem these browneye points? :!:

How often do you use optical media? Other than installing operating systems, I cannot recall the last time I have. Everything is available in a ripped divx version these days.

What world do you think you live in? 95% of the population hasn't reached your level of nerdom. People still play dvd's and they would want that type of feature on a travel size pc.

Agreed I suppose. But, most people that aren't nerdy won't be buying an EEE PC. A lot of sub notebooks don't come with internal optical drives these days. Back when I had my MacBook, I cannot think of a single instance where I used the drive.

I've had my laptop for a year and a half, and I watched a DVD on it for the first time three days ago.
