Something about Rob Davis' snapping style that is not good for these conditions. That ball almost stopped in mid-air before Ryan grabbed it. I have never seen anything like that in my life.

Fine, but Ryan needs to just fucking kick the ball, fuck your steps, which takes Ryan about 15 seconds to kick the ball.

Is Mike Stock even in Chicago? He is clueless with our return team right now.

I picked the Giants BIG TIME to win this game. I will be in shock if the Bills win. Also possibly out a lot of money.

Those DAM Boys are costing me Big time. I'm done betting on them. They can't cover themselves walking in the park. ROMO is screwed!! if you get the meaning. eerrrrr too screwed. :)

He's got to much a smile on his puss and I hope we can get our shit together by some miracle and beat his ass. It will take a lot more than I see at present with our team. Maybe TT will wake up?

No.

I'm sorry you didn't have your number. I'd have accepted your Canadian money at par on a bet like that :P We get the Giants games here a lot in New England, and they are one of the worst-looking playoff contenders I've ever seen. So often they play with either no heart or no head, or both.

In order to put this game and the weather conditions into proper context, think back to the infamous "fog bowl" when Philly had to come play in Chicago and the weather conditions were so bad the TV crews couldn't even see the action. This is basically the same thing. The difference in the game is the Bears know how to exploit these weather conbditions and Green Bay doesn't. These conditions are rare in Chicago, maybe one game a season this happens. I think they caught Seattle in this last season. It sucks, but it doesn't benefit them often.

But its still just a game. One game. The Bears get something to help them distract themselves from the fact that they went from first to last this season.

The Packers will still be the #2 seed.

Very bad game. The Packers have been running better, but they obviously depend on the pass to open up the run. A day like today and the Packers will lose to almost any team in the NFL.

The strength of this team is the pass game and the ST's. Take those two things away with weather and we are horrible.

I'm now worried about the first game in Lambeau. If it's a day like today, we could very well not even make it out of the divisonal playoff game and like I said before, this could be a blessing because Dallas would kill us in weather like this.

We have a good team, but I think this shows we are not built for the elements and that is a huge flaw given we play in GB. One thing Wolf said is he built a team for the outdoors because outdoors in Dec/Jan in GB is no picnic. It is supposed to be to our advantage. I hope this game is an abberation (wtf ST play, D not getting off the bus, and farve having a wtf day). If it is not then playoffs may be tougher on us than our opponents. We would be Indy w/o the dome

The worst part is if the Giants lose and the Vikings win out, they will move up a seed in the playoffs b/c they hold the tiebreaker against the Giants.

Then we will likely see the Vikings in Lambeau come our opening game.

Favre better not come back in this game!

Nor should DD, Jennings, Woodson, Harris, Kampman, Williams, Grant, Clifton, Tauscher, or any other unreplaceable starter.

Uh uh. Make all the young guys finish the game. They need to learn how to suck it up and play in this weather, or we could be one and done come playoff time.

This is becoming identical to the year the Bears went 13-3 and locked up the #2 seed with two of their 3 losses to the Packers. I hope that's where the similarity ends, because the Bears let Philly humiliate them 31-10 in their divisional playoff game that season.

Why didn't they run the ball at all early? Grant was getting either 2-3 yards per carry or exploding for a big run? People can say Ryan lost the game with shitty punts but why was he punting the ball that much to begin with.

The play calling was abysmal this game and it sure looked to me like we're better off heading down to warm dallas where we can run our spread offense.

Coach Mac was outdone today. That rarely happens, but he failed to adjust to the elements. No reason when you're down by a TD to completely abandon a sucessful running attack.

If I were Bearman, I would be loving this too. But I would also love the situation to be reversed.

This game will end up being just another part of Chicago's "Second City" mentality. "Hey, remember the year our team sucked absolute ass but we blew out the Packers 35-7 in the most unfavorable weather conditions an opposing team has faced in the last 10 years? Man, that ROCKED!"

And then they forget about how bad their team really is, and don't fix anything for the next season. Which is why I love them: they are experts at self-delusion.

If the Jags play in weather like we had today in Chicago - I could imagine a game like today.

The Jags are one of the toughest teams in the league who will run all over you. If the Pats can't pass due to the wind, the Jags will load the line and I have more faith in the Jags running attack than the Pats.

Thats one of the biggest problems with the Pats getting home field advantage. If the weather sucks, it goes against what they are good at, which is the passing attack.
