I am about to head down to the basement with the nice tv, a blanket, a pillow, some diet mountain dew, and some chips and salsa. I'm ready for the football.

Good game ahead; Portis needs to have a big game

Seattle is a VERY dangerous team in the playoffs.

Go Skins !!!!

Seattle poses a bigger threat to us than Dallas, IMO.

Partial, Diet Mountain Dew tastes nothing like regular Mountain Dew. Can't drink it myself.

Hasselbeck looks sharp so far.

Alrighty, I went upstairs and grabbed the eee pc. As you can see, I am typing on it fairly well these days considering I am laying in the dark typing this out.

Alexander is not the same player that he was two years ago. Not even close!

They rarely lose at home
Great coach and stellar QB make them dangerous to any team in the NFC

I cannot help but think that Washington has a little divine help from above, though. I think they'll win.

Where is the holding call on that play? Two Redskins were literally being mugged and tackled to the ground. Both were within reach of the player.

Quite a few good Vikings in the playoffs. Just none of them are still playing for the Vikings

That stadium seems pretty rowdy. Seattle looks pretty good defensively. I am not too sure I would want to play them.

Nice stop by the Skins. I bet they take advantage of it right here.

Wow, that is some solid punting today. Two punts downed deep in Skins territory today. This one on the 2.

Partial

If I had a Santana Moss on my team, I would find more creative ways of getting the ball in his hands. Seattle with an encroachment penalty after pinning them at the 2. Go Skins!!

Qwest field is pretty cool looking. You know what else is pretty cool looking. That movie Cloverfield. I have high hopes for it. I am typing like an animal on this mini-computer now and am beginning to warm up to it. Definitely quite a bit different of a notebook experience, but it seems to be working a lot better for me today.

Seattle has some advantage in preparation as they know who they'll face if they won - which they did - namely the Packers. I rank Seattle the worst foe for Packers but that's the divisional opponant. Holmgren vs Favre...I hate that matchup! I did predict a Seattle win so I'm not surprised.

RashanGary

Seattle was clearly playing inside leverage on the outside recievers knowing Collins didn't have the arm to take advantage. They dared Collins to throw the deep outs and Collins couldn't do it.

Why are you so worried about the SeaHawks? Green Bay's been playing pretty well too ya know.

Seattle can get a lot of pressure. They have a coach who knows Favre very well. That is going to be a tough, tough game. I would much rather play the Giants or Tampa!!

at this time of year everyone can give pressure. on offense seattle is one dimensional...all pass. their d has given up some big yards today. we'll be fine if Brett has time to do his magic.

We match up pretty well on them. Our Corners vs their only real weapons (WR's). Tausch vs Kerney. Favre vs the #19 pass defense.

Seattle is a very good team. They're probably better against teams that don't pass as well as our team.

The difference is the Packers had no defense in 2003. I think Seattle will have a tough time moving the ball. Shaun Alexander looks finished, and the Packer CB's match up well with the Seattle WR's. My only concern right now is the health of the Packer Guards.

By the way, with all the posting about the Hawks... I don't see them a big of a threat as you all do... They are to one dimensional in my book, they have no running game...

Unless they have receivers like Moss and Welker, that running game will kill them in the end...

When you have two lockdown corners shutting down the outside, and a tight end that can't spread the field... You have to rely on that running game...

I would be nervous if I were the Pats.

The Jags are a tough hitting team - weather in Foxboro should be freezing with rain/snow - could change though. If the weather is bad enough, it could negate some of the pass offense of the Pats and I think the Jags win a slugfest - they are beating the heck out of the Pitt recievers.

Even if the weather is not bad enough, I have a feeling they are going to be pretty black and blue the next week. The Jags can hit!

Jacksonvilles defense reminds me of our defense. They're very vanilla. They have good players, but as soon as the line is knicked up a little, they can't do much because they depend so much on that pressure.

They're warn out at this point too. They need to have a nice drive here. Even if it's only a field goal, they need to take a little bit of time to rest the defense and get a few yards. It's going to be tough with the crowd at this point. Wow, Pittsburgh really showed up to play.
