Does Favre come back?

Looking at Rodgers injury history, Favres great play this year and the really good team that still should get better I'd say yeah right now.

He might not. What better way is there to go out?

Though you don't get your brains beat in at age 38 unless you have a serious addiction to the game day adrenelin.

Unless he wins it all he comes back

If we do win it all I still think it's 50/50

Most people assumed Elway would retire after they won the Super Bowl. He recognized the opportunity to get there again.

Favre is better now than Elway was then, has a brilliant receiving corp to work with, a young and developing team overall, a strong defense even if not great. He knows the team is in great shape cap-wise to retain the ones they want and maybe even sign a free agent or two. He still seems passionate about the game. Why wouldn't he want to return?

If he wins it, I think he retires. If he doesn't, I think its 50/50.

If he wins the Super Bowl, he retires.
If not, he returns.

If we win the SB, 98% he comes back

Not win it, 100%

His love of the game is still waaaaaay to strong for him to "quit" while he is still better than 90% of the QBs out there.

But the thing is, he's still better than at least 25-30 other starting QB's.

It'd be a real bitch if this one time, the only time everybody expects him to be back, he retires.

I'd say it's 90/10 he comes back, regardless of what happens in the postseason.

the thing is.. im pretty certain his decision has never been about other people and what they think.. it seems to me that he makes his decision on the competitive fire that burns inside him from year to year...

the question will be, is that gone?.. sure doesnt look like it is haha

Agreed. Unless he sustains a serious injury in the post season, he will be back.

I hope you guys are right. Otherwise my kids will never forgive me for not getting them to a game this season.

Jennings will talk him into like he did last year according to that Jennings article that was posted a week or so ago.

I say it's 50-50. Right now I hope Favre isn't even thinking about it.

i'll bet if they win the whole thing he's done. what will be left? he's got the records. if they don't he'll be back.
