I have not seen an "official" gameday prediction thread yet, so I will start it.
My prediction is"
Packers 30
Seahawks 27
Though the Packers are reportedly favored by 8 points, I see a closer game with the Packers coming out on top.
Packers 31
Seahags 14

Great Game, Hasselbeck throws for 290 and 3tds, but throws a pick on a potential game tying drive, in the end zone, to none other than Charles Woodson.
Favre has his best playoff game in years, throwing for 320 and 4td's
Grant runs for 75 yds and a TD, and rookie running back Brandon Jackson scores on screen pass, from Favre, from 25 yds out, becoming our new third down back from here on out.

sounds about right. The Seahawks defense looks tough. Maybe Kerney will sprain an ankle.

I was offered 4 tickets at face value for this game but I'm hoping or gambling that they'll be playing in Lambeau for the NFC Championship a week from Sunday.

Seattle defense isn't as tough when they don't have that home crowd making it difficult for the opposing offense to hear the signals. Definitely a team that thrives on home cooking.

Well, as it appears I'm the only one carrying water here for the Seahawks, I say:
Seahawks: 31
Packers : 24
I had a thought that it would be a thrill to be at the game wearing a Seahawk jersey, surrounded by cheese-heads. Not sure if I have a pair of onions big enough to do it though. I'd probably need some kind of adult beverage enhancement to give me the courage. Would I make it through the game with no more than some beer being dumped on me?

The fans at Lambeau have a reputation for being gracious to visitors. Not like Philly or Oakland.

Yes, I do believe you have good fans. Speaking of Oakland, that would make a good Fear Factor episode. Wear an opposition jersey and sit in the middle of the Black Hole.

I thought the idea of that show was you were supposed to do stupid stuff that you could actually survive...

True. Maybe if they ever came up with a show called Suicide, that might make a good episode.

Josh Brown's heated pants short out and shock his nads on the sidelines, he's numb for the entire fourth quarter and he misses a game tying kick at end of the game. Favre does the fireman's carry on Homlgren after the post game handshake and does a lap around lambeau while fans pelt the Walrus with snowballs. I can only hope.

Have you seen how big the Walrus is lately? Favre would give himself a hernia of not back spasms trying to get that done...

It's funny to watch our players carry him after the Super Bowl - then to see him a little fatter in his last game with us (the San Fran playoff game), then to see how much fatter he got for the Super Bowl year 2 years ago, and THEN how fat he is now!
Awesome.

There are three keys that the Packers need to accomplish to win this game.
1. Protect Favre...give him protection, and he will tear up the Seattle defense.
2. Utilize the backs as receivers...I think this a game where Brandon Jackson and Vernand Morency can make some big plays running wheel routes and getting out into the flats, taking advantage of the aggressive SEA front seven.
3. Win the special teams battle...if Crosby and Ryan play well, it will be tough for SEA to win.
