Have we regraded the 2021 draft yet?
Green Bay Packers 2021 NFL Draft Picks:
Round 1: No. 29 - Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia
I don't love the kid. He is a boom or bust, but I think he actually knows the game unlike a Torrance Marshall type. If he wants to stick in Green Bay
Deputy Nutz 04-30-2024, 07:23 AMOrlando pace is an all time horrible athlete but he’s so long he can just play this weird ass game and it works. Wahle was saying Tausch is the only
RashanGary 04-29-2024, 11:50 PMTauscher is undoubtedly not a college football expert although he knows some of the Big Ten guys. But he's only announced that league for one year.
Bretsky 04-29-2024, 09:51 PMWould agree with all of this except the Hopper grade might be too high for round 3. Overall I think Gute did a great job
Bretsky 04-29-2024, 09:47 PMJim and Pat on 'Movin' the Chains' say the Pack had a good draft and the team got better over the weekend.
Their collective take was Morgan,
Jones weighed 208 at the combine. But I know he took off weight following his rookie year.
Joemailman 04-29-2024, 05:24 PMJones is 190 after a big meal. That's per a recent LaFleur interview.
Jaire 04-29-2024, 04:58 PMI don't think he cares much about the college game. I'm much the same, except I watch film on a prospect here or there that interests me.
smuggler 04-29-2024, 04:46 PMRay rice is kind of a similar build
RashanGary 04-29-2024, 04:27 PMIt would be really hard to focus if your hair was on fire.
And we don't want that for Olidapo, or how can we enjoy the ever-changing hair
Yeah, just as wide receiver and offensive line have been strengths of the GM's and drafting departments, safeties and defensive linemen have been a weakness.
Fritz 04-29-2024, 04:16 PMThose highlights of Green were fun. I remembered he played for Hawaii but forgot they were in the WAC. In other words, he was probably the best athlete
run pMc 04-29-2024, 04:15 PMTauscher - whom I listened to on a podcast today (first time hearing Tausch) - didn't seem to know much about any of the guys the Packers drafted. I was
Fritz 04-29-2024, 04:14 PMHow the game has changed. Robert Newhouse was a running back with the Dallas Cowboys in the 70's and early 80's (early on as a fulback), went 5'-10",
Fritz 04-29-2024, 04:12 PMWahle really likes his upside. Says he has excellent feet and play strength. Needs polish. Kind of the same for Morgan. Both guys need a year. But he
RashanGary 04-29-2024, 04:11 PMOh we did have Collins. I take that back. But 3 years of his peak is pretty much all we’ve had of good safety play since Daren Sharper.
RashanGary 04-29-2024, 04:09 PMIt’s wild that we let Hyde and Heyward go. Yeah, just like we have a long history of excellent OL play, ever since Sharper, we have a long history of
RashanGary 04-29-2024, 04:08 PMOr two defensive backs looking at each other and gesturing at each other after an opposing wide receiver is wide open for an easy touchdown while Bob
Fritz 04-29-2024, 04:06 PMJim Nagys job is to gas up the senior bowl players. It doesn’t mean anything. But he could still be good. Never know.
