Regarding the infection, 1-2 percent of torn ACL's have that occur. I only caught the 8 weeks because that is standard procedure for the infection.

To me it clearly sounds like they misdiagnosed the injury the first time. It sounds like it was more than the ACL and they limited the fix to the ACL
