I've only found this on the mainland a couple times, but I'm hooked. Thankfully, I'm headed to Hawaii in a few months.
None of that stuff is sold in Oklahoma.
But there is Boxer Beer from Monroe Wisconsin!
Must be reformulated Huber Beer.
Here is what you need. Amazing beers.

Thank you Freak Out;
We have craft beer in OKC.
Choc(named after the Choctaw Nation) and Mustang(named after Mustang Oklahoma)
Have tried neither.
Just purchased a 12 pack of Pearl.
Maybe I should pour it down the drain.
Pabst sold itself to a Russian Company.
Hard to beat it. Renting a camper van this trip, we'll see how that goes.
Don't forget to stop for malasadas!!!!

Which of the micro-climates do you guys like on Big Island? I went with my ex-wife, so my memories are not that great (I probably need to go back again and see if I like it better)…….just remember I felt as though I was driving on the surface of a different planet most of the time in the lava fields by the resorts. Although it also felt like rural Wisconsin too up by Waimea.
I don't even know where to start, it's all so rad. The first time we were on the north side which was just wet enough, but not TOO wet. We rented a house and it was super chill. The second time, we got a condo on Kona, talk about perfect weather 24/7. We're renting a van this time because we want to get a little more immersed in the environment/culture. We're going to spent more time in Volcano, etc to get a better feel for that. I'd like to spend a nite on Mauna Kea, but I have to sell the wife on doing a "crash and dash" up there.
It's a work trip for my wife, so I have quite a bit of downtime. We stay at Hualalai so it's actually tough to get motivated to leave the resort. On her off day we go exploring. The waterfalls are amazing. I want to find the green sand beach this year. Tried last time and had no luck. We did end up walking ~2 miles off the road and found an amazing cliff overview where there were no houses.
The fact that I drove from a beach, through a desert, through a pine forest, through a rain forest, and ended up at 3200 feet above sea level where there were a bunch of cattle farms....that totally blew my mind. And the whole trip is like 3 hours.
Green sand beach is easy to find....you just have to go at low tide. Watch out for the locals on the trail there.
Also....you ever jump the cliffs at south point? :)
I love beer....and I love Hawaii. Hawaii needs some more creative breweries. :) Ok....that's out of the way. I love the big island as well. My wife and I still like to camp when we go...even in the Park where it can get a little cold at night...or near Hilo where it can rain like hell. Plus there are the locals.....
Was down south over the weekend and brought back a case each of Bourbon County Brand Stout, and the Bourbon County Barley wine (Goose Island). Damn the BCBS is always so good.

A bar in Minnesota caught selling Spotted Cow in a sting operation. http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/story...ple-grove-minn
I drank a spotted cow last night. It was excellent.
Spotted Cow is overrated
As I get older, I think I'm turning into more of a lightweight. They'll probably find me dead, drinking Corona Lite through a straw, and they won't be able to determine whether I died of poisoning or ennui.
i'm currently working on an exquisite sixer of bud light tallboys
