I actually loved "The Dean Lowry Army", Fritz's best joke ever, even if that is a low bar. But too late to change the thread title.
edit: I assume you got the pun, Max. Max, Max, wake up, Max.

Hey! I resemble that remark.
Be careful, Harlan. I'm armed, unlike Dean Lowry.
First string! Finally something for the fan club to cheer about.

Thanks, of course our hero was briefly at top of McCoach's depth chart last year. This season Mean Dean reaches for the stars.

You know if Lowry were interested in genealogy he'd make a great Dean for the College of Arms.

Count me in: I am pulling for Dean Lowry.
The pun material in this club is top notch but I cannot join. I savaged this human vest as a prospect fully exposing myself to Patlerization.
My Lowry loyalty is based completely on seeing him in two college games where he looked very big and active, moving from sideline to sideline. Pillar to post. Badgers couldn't block him.
I wonder if Lowry has trouble reaching for his wallet when the check arrives.
I have to say, Lowry always reminds me of this kid in High School who we called Spider Monkey. Kid could touch his knees without bending his torso. He was a freak of nature, an anti-Dean.
Nah, he was too short. More like this guy:

We in the Dean Lowry Army refers to the long-armed as "knuckle draggers."
(I just remembered some cartoon strip in National Lampoon Magazine, or maybe it was Mad Magazine - some fine journal ion any event. It was a strip about these "siamese twin" brothers who were sheltered inside by their embarrassed parents. They would look out the window at the other kids and yell, "nah, nah, one-zies!")
Well, there was once a 'Nick the Kick Lowry' and now it's: Dean the Spleen Lowry? Dean the Green Lowry? Dean the Tween Lowry? Dean the Gene Lowry? Keep'em coming!
