If I come for a visit how do I get to the front door without getting shot?

If Snake came by your houses (Nutz and Skin) and jacked off on your shoes you left outside, while I jumped rope..would you guys be pissed and call the cops....or just enjoy the security videos and bring me inside for a muffins, tea, and a pleasant circle jerk? And would it change a thing if I had an entourage of dirty Vietnamese prostitutes looking for a basement to crash?....It's weird I know...but just asking....
Ha! That guy! That was an epic read. I agree with pretty much everything he said. Lets get that guy back here!
Dear Nutz,
My March visit is tentatively scheduled for March 4th. Don't make any plans. I'll bring the bananas.
xoxo,

Is it warm enough to fish at the end of March? When do the bass start spawning?
you know in like Kentucky
Fuck if I know.
So I am making knives from scratch. It is hard. I got a belt grinder, and I made a homemade coal forge. Steel isn't to expensive so I can deal with the mess ups. If I had a better belt grinder I could probably do a better job. My work shop(garage) is cold as shit right now so production has slowed.
Not yet, but I will
I made a bunch of knives at once. I then had to figure out how to harden them, so I had to build a forge. Two of the knives didn't turn out after heat treating them. Then a few of them I couldn't get a straight bevel so I said fuck it. So out of six knives I have like two of them that I am going to finish with handles.
That's weird. I was just thinking of doing the same. But mostly because the guy we had mount our deer skulls this year makes knives and has all the proper equipment, but that stuff is expensive so I'll just pay him to do it.
I've always wanted to try it too. I've already got tons of expensive waterstones and sharpening gear for my cooking cutlery that now only gets used about twice a year. So It'd be a fun project to get to do more sharpening.
I've got a few nice leaf springs set aside and I built one of these

...but haven't gotten around to it. Too much reloading to do.
The Soup can forge is hard to beat, but I wanted to pretend I was a blacksmith and made a coal forge out of a 8x12" baking pan, steel pipe, and a air pump from an old blow up bed. I built a a table out of 2x4 but it kept catching fire. I am thinking about replacing with steel 2x4s but then they will get pretty hot.
Does anyone see what I am doing? It is so much fun!!!
It just takes more time.
All my knives are going to be shitty, I never made a knife before.
First knife is finished. It cuts soft tomatoes and can hack wood without chipping, or mangling the edge. It ain't pretty (pictures to follow) but it is completed.
